I slept. For the first time in a week, I actually slept really well and had a really nice dream. I guess it was because Louis was there... Anyway, he practically forced me to open up to him about my real mom, about the tweet and about my nightmares (which are about my real mom).

He promised to stay with me every night for at least a week so that I could sleep and then hopefully after that the nightmare would be permanently gone or something. “Baby,” Louis mutters tiredly and I look over at him wide eyed.

“Did you just call me ‘baby’?” I furrow my eyebrows, sitting up in bed. “What? No... I... Uh... I said Jessie, you just probably heard wrong,” It’s obvious he’s lying but I brush it off anyway. “Ok well good night,” I smile, lying back down and cuddling up to him.

“I said your name for a reason,” He chuckles, sitting up slightly and wresting his head on his arms. “Mm?” I hum, keeping my eyes closed. “Have you spoken to Valerie yet?” He has his hand on my waist and I open my eyes to see him looking down at me.

“No,” I whisper, mesmorised by his eyes. “Why not? She’s really worried...” He plays with a strand of my hair. “I know... It’s just that I didn’t want her to worry so I tried to hide my sadness from her and now that I can finally sleep again, it’s only been one and a quarter nights.”

“One and a quarter?” He raises his eyebrows at me. “Last night and a bit of this night,” I roll my eyes and pout at him while he laughs. “Don’t laugh at me,” I snuggle into him and he lies back down, wrapping his arm around me.

“You’re weird,” He mumbles into my hair. “Yeah well you’re stupid!” I retort, making him laugh again. “Goodnight,” He whispers, turning the light off and closing his eyes. “Goodnight, dork,” I grin, before going to sleep.

“Wake up,” Someone pokes my cheek and I tiredly push their hand away, still with my eyes closed. I roll over and bury my head in my pillow. “The boys want to go ice skating,” Louis whispers, goosebumps rising on my skin when I feel his breath on my neck.

“Mmm,” I ignore him, and suddenly feel cold water running down from the top of my head, soaking my hair and the bed. I gasp, sitting up immediately and looking over to see Niall holding an empty bucket above me.

“Oh how did that get there?” He puts the bucket down, slowly walking backwards and out of the room. I turn to Louis who shrugs, laughing. “You guys are all mean!” I shout, climbing out of bed and shuffling to the bathroom.

So the first night I slept, I woke up at two in the afternoon and spent the day with Louis, the second day I woke up at twelve and spent the day with Valerie, the third day I literally stayed in bed until six pm and then Louis force fed me...

The fourth day I woke up at nine because Louis had to go to a recording session and signing, and spent the day watching netflix while eating pizza and ice cream. The fifth day I woke up at six thirty am because Louis had to go again and spent the day wandering around my house, just doing random stuff.

And today is the sixth day, it is currently ten am and the boys want to go ice skating for some weird reason. “So are you coming ice skating?” Louis asks from outside the bathroom door. “Maybe,” I sigh, climbing into the shower.

“I was actually going to go apartment shopping today,” I inform him. I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, clean my body and then get out of the shower, brushing my teeth and blow drying my hair.

I leave it in it’s natural wavy form and wrap the towel securely around my waist before walking back out into my bedroom which is now empty. After changing into a casual outfit (a shirt and shorts), I walk out to the living room.

Ok so I take it they left. I spot a note on the table, walking over to read it.

Jess,
We went to go ice skating and then we’re going to go to a party tonight,
See you later,
Louis.

Wait so if Louis’ going to a party tonight... What does soon mean? Tonight or tomorrow?! And if it’s tonight, what time?! Jessie, calm down, and go look at apartments. Grabbing my wallet and phone, I wait outside the house for my taxi.

Apartment one was nice, but it was way too big, I’d probably get lost in it; it had three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms (ensuite), three walk-in closets, a kitchen and a gym.

Apartment two had two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. It was quite nice... Kind of worn in, though.

And then there was apartment three... They say third time’s the charm... It is stunning. One master bedroom (still quite small though) with an ensuite bathroom, a small guest bedroom with a small bathroom that connects to the living room (which is small and cosy), and a beautiful kitchen.

After I sign the paperwork and pay the first month rent, the man drives away, leaving me in my apartment. Squealing in happiness, I text Louis telling him I found the perfect one and then lock the door, heading to the nearest ikea.

I don’t want to take my furnature at home because then when I go back for christmas and stuff, I’ll have an empty room.

A/N: this is sort of like a filler chapter :) the next one is more interesting.
