Back to Kane and Nick Wilde, Kane was now driving the stolen armored prison transport truck with Nick Wilde in tow in the back futher into the city and into a deep area in its downtown section. While Kane Karter had managed to give the ZPD the slip as he hadn't encountered anymore ZPD officers for awhile, Kane Karter knew better than to let his guard down.

Afterall, he was a wanted man, or in this case, mammal now and he was sure that they were combing the whole city for him, the truck and Nick Wilde in the back at this very moment. Kane was an expert with these kinds of things and this was far from the first time that he had been on the run from the law, but he knew what to do.

Kane wanted to go grab a bite to eat somewhere, but that could wait. First, Kane had to get Wilde out from the back and ditch the truck as he knew that it wouldn't be long before the ZPD or any other mammal in Zootopia identified it and used that to track them down.

Kane Karter looked around and drove for a couple more minutes before he ended up in a bad part of downtown Zootopia with old buildings, graffiti and some mammals that were either homeless or had so little money that they could only afford to live in such poor conditions like in this one area of the city. Kane wasn't surprised to see that all of these mammals were all preds, with not a single prey animal in sight, which angered him a bit.

Then, Kane found and parked the truck behind a gas station's convenience store in this nasty ghetto in the city as he got out, so no one would immediately spot the vehicle after he abandoned it after getting Nick Wilde. Kane, however, wasn't here to get gas and not just because he had to ditch the truck, but also because he didn't have any money (at least any Zootopian money) to pay for any either.

Pulling out a key from his pocket that he had stolen from Larry before he had killed him back at that restroom, Kane went to the back of the truck and slowly unlocked the back door. Kane had only heard of the fox that he had been assigned to rescue so far and he had to admit that he was interested to see who this Nick Wilde guy was.

As soon as Kane opened the back door of the truck, he immediately made eye contact with a red fox in a business suit, who looked a bit confused to see him. But when Nick Wilde came to his senses, his expression turned to that of shock.

Nick was also surprised when Kane suddenly grabbed the muzzle that he was still wearing and without much difficulty and effort, forced it off from Nick's head and face before tossing it to the side as if it was trash! This quickly made Nick feel a bit of relief to have that stupid, metal thing off as it had been quite uncomfortable wearing it on his face, but not as uncomfortable as the Tame Collar that he was still wearing around his neck that could still shock him at any time if he wasn't careful!
