Chapter 13 A MATTER OF TIME AND DEATH PART 5

"You!" Nick Wilde yelled at Judy Hopps.

"Yeah! It's me, Judy Hopps!" Judy Hopps confirmed.

"So, you must be this famous Judy Hopps that I've heard of!" Kane Karter spoke, not intimidated by Judy in the slightest as he had dealt with the police and other forms of law enforcement many times before in the past back on his world. "I must say it's a pleasure to meet you! You know, if you and I were the same species, I might even find you very pretty!"

"Nice try, wolfie! But if you two lawbreakers think that flattery is going to get you out of this, you have another thing coming!" Judy Hopps told Kane and Nick Wilde. "After finding your car, I've been here patiently waiting awhile for you to come back so that I would have you right where I want you! You two are in a lot of trouble!"

"If we're being grounded, mom, then we're going home right now and going to bed!" Kane mocked Judy, deliberately saying this to get under Judy's skin. Kane had a habit of ticking off the police and other figures of authority just to have some fun even when it just got him into more trouble! "Oh, look! The big, bad, cute bunny is going to-"

Judy then shot a tranquilizer dart from her tranquilizer gun and intentionally missed Kane by a couple inches! "Listen here, pred!" Judy told Kane. "You're already on thin ice, but only a rabbit can call another rabbit cute! It's kind of rude for other mammals to do so and I will not be called cute by a disgusting pred mammal like you who's broken the law and is just another criminal that needs to be locked up!"

Hearing this, Kane laughed. "Oh, I'm sorry! Did I hit a nerve?" Kane taunted Judy Hopps, which only made her madder. "Can I call you cuddly then! Or how about fluffy?"

"Kane!" Nick tried to stop Kane as he didn't like where this was going.

"Enough!" Yelled Judy as she looked at Kane and Nick Wilde furiously. "You're under arrest, so hold up your paws now!"

Then, as angry as Judy was, Nick suddenly got very angry himself when he remembered Judy's involvement with what had happened to him. "It's bad enough you ruined my life!" Nick Wilde told Judy Hopps. "You're just like other prey mammals! You would go as far as destroying the lives of us preds just for some sick kicks or your own personal gain! Is that how you, a rabbit, was even able to become a ZPD officer in the first place!?"

Judy gasped. She hadn't expected to ever hear something like this. To hear this from even a pred was something that really hurt her feelings!

"How dare you!" Judy fumed. "I'll have you know that I passed and graduated from The Zootopia Police Academy and climbed my way up through the ranks of the ZPD until I became the great officer that I am today just like the rest of the ZPD fair and square!"

"Then would you care to explain what you were doing sneaking around my Wilde Times business exactly when the incident with me happened yesterday!" Nick accused. "Are you in cahoots with that stupid wolf that shot me with whatever made me go nuts back there in my office at Wilde Times! Did you make a deal with him where after he made go crazy, you called in the ZPD and had me arrested and ruined my business and used that so that you can boost yourself and your reputation in the ZPD!?"
