"You won't get away this time, Wolf and Wilde!" Judy Hopps shouted as she could be seen chasing after both Kane (who was still in his wolf disguise) and Nick Wilde through the streets.

It hadn't taken long after Kane and Nick Wilde had lost Judy the other day before she had quickly tracked them down again. This wasn't the first time Judy had caught up to them after they had given her the slip the first time either. In fact, this was now the 8th time since they had first encountered Judy, that they had been on the run from her!

Kane still thought that the idea of a rabbit like Judy being a cop was hilarious. But he had to admit that while she while was small and looked cute and harmless, she was quite persistent and she meant business.

Kane and Nick weren't driving around in their car anymore because it had run out of gas and was useless to them and Judy hadn't given them enough time to get more gas from a gas station either. She also had prevented them from finding a new hideout, which annoyed Kane a bit.

"For the record, you female knockoff of Bugs Bunny, the name's Kane Karter!" Kane shot back at Judy Hopps, who, of course, didn't know who Bugs Bunny was and was briefly confused before trying to shoot him and Nick with some tranquilizer darts.

Kane easily dodged them. But Nick Wilde had needed help, so Kane had to grab him and move him out of the way of all Judy's tranquilizer darts.

Kane wasn't using The Chronos because he couldn't. He had already used up all 30 times or what he called 'slow periods' to slow time down to help him and Nick escape Judy Hopps up until now. Sure, there was still The Chronos's ability to turn back time as well, but like The Watcher had said, he could only use that once a day and Kane wasn't going to waste it trying to flee some stupid, annoying rabbit!

This left Kane with only one option for him and Nick to make a quick getaway. Kane did the only thing he could do. He used his power again and created a barely visible car, which made him feel some pain and be a bit tired.

He and Nick quickly got into said car and Kane turned on the car with some keys he had also made, and he and Nick drove away. Judy lost sight of them again and she ran to where her car was in order to pursue Kane and Nick further.

However, Kane and Nick had yet again given her the slip and Judy knew that while she would find them again, it would take a little while to do so. Judy also realized that something seemed really weird about how Kane and Nick Wilde kept escaping her.

They had managed to avoid tranquilizer darts from her gun and get past her and put distance between her without her having noticed until it had happened. Judy also began to think that between Kane and Nick, Kane was the one that she needed to really not underestimate.

She couldn't explain how, but there was more to him than meets the eye. The way he moved and acted to expertly avoid every one of her tranquilizer darts was already pretty incredible in itself, but the fact that Kane somehow could create barely visible cars and other things out of thin air made it clear that he was no average criminal that she or the ZPD had faced before! Because of this, she knew that Kane would be a serious challenge for her, and she would have to come up with a new and different strategy if she was going to get him and Wilde.
