As Hayoung walked past the receptionist, she noticed some of her workers' noses being buried in a magazine. As she got closer, she noticed the magazine had an awfully familiar face on the cover.
Hayoung wasn't sure what angered her more. The fact that her workers were slacking off or the fact that they were holding a magazine with her lazy fiancé on the cover.
"Isn't Nakamoto Yuta so hot?" One of the girls said, covering her mouth as she giggled.
"Yes, I heard he's single too. Whoever marries him one day would be such a lucky girl." The other one said.
None of those statements are correct. Hayoung thought as she quietly approached the two. She ripped the magazine from their hands.
"Yah, what was that fo-" The worker's froze as they saw Hayoung's face.
"What are you two doing? Slacking off at work? Are you asking to get fired?!" Hayoung yelled at them, earning stares from the other workers. Hayoung didn't care though. This would teach them all a good lesson.
"Sorry Miss. Kim." The two girls said, quickly standing up and giving her a 90 degrees bow.
"If I catch you two slacking off again, you're fired." Hayoung said, walking away. She threw the magazing into a recycling bin before entering her office.
"You heard her, quit staring and get to work." Hayoung heard Doyoung say to the workers. Her door opened, Doyoung walking in with a bright smile on his face.
"You got them good, sis." Doyoung said as he began to giggle. Hayoung rolled her eyes.
"You're much too nice to them, that's why they always slack off." Hayoung told him, opening up a new folder. Doyoung shook his head.
"I have to be nice, otherwise we would have no workers since you keep firing them all anyways. Even if you don't fire them, half of them quit." Doyoung pointed out. Hayoung shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't want people that aren't hard workers anyways. Plus, so many people want to work for this company." Hayoung responded.
"You'll burn through every citizen in Neo City at this rate." Doyoung mumbled under his breath. Hayoung put her pen down, looking up at her brother.
"Excuse me?" Hayoung said, glaring at him. Doyoung let out a sigh.
"You need to relax. You're too uptight." Doyoung told her.
"I'm keeping this company afloat, that's what I'm doing." Hayoung responded, returning from her work. She noticed Doyoung tapping his chin from the corner of her eye. Suddenly, Doyoung snapped his finger.
"What do you want?" Hayoung asked, looking up at him.
"Come clubbing with methis Friday." Doyoung said.
"Absolutely not." Hayoung quickly responded. She watched as a pout formed on Doyoung's face.
"Why?" Doyoung whined.
"I don't want to hang out with your friends." Hayoung told him.
"It's just going to be me and Mark. Jungwoo wants to watch over the café." Doyoung told her but Hayoung just waved him away.
"I need to work, leave me alone." Hayoung said.
"Fine, but think about it." Doyoung said before making his way out of her office.
...
One thing that Yuta had left out was that his friend staying over that Friday night was female.
