The days quickly returned to normal, passing by rapidly. Hayoung had found herself getting closer to Jungwoo, often spending evenings at the café chatting with the male.
Hayoung learned that despite how nerdy Jungwoo used to be, he actually really enjoyed soccer and often watched it. His favourite ice flavour was mint chocolate chip, and secretly loves Snoopy.
That day, Hayoung was exiting her room to the kitchen to make breakfast, and was surprised by a spotless kitchen and Yuta standing there, sipping coffee from a mug.
"Good morning." Yuta said to her, putting his mug down.
"Good morning." Hayoung replied, moving past him and heading to the toaster. She placed two slices of bread in before glancing over at the male. That's when she noticed that Yuta was wearing his ring.
"Why are you wearing that?" Hayoung asked, motioning to his ring. Yuta looked at her, giving her a look that read you should know.
"Isn't your mother coming over for dinner tonight?" Yuta asked. Hayoung's eyes widened and she quickly checked her calendar on her phone. Sure enough, her mother was indeed supposed to come over to their place for dinner that night.
"Shoot, I forgot that my wedding gown fitting is tomorrow." Hayoung groaned. Yuta chuckled, making his way to his room.
"See you later." Yuta said as he closed the door behind him.
...
"Kim Doyoung, where are you?" Hayoung cried out, opening the door to her brother's office. Instead, she was met with an empty room. She turned around, walking towards the front.
"Where's my brother?" Hayoung ask the receptionist.
"Mr. Kim said he was going downstairs." The receptionist replied. Downstairs? Hayoung wondered for a moment. Oh, the café.
Hayoung made her way to the elevators, heading down to her brother's café. As she swung the door open, making the bells ring, she saw her brother leaning on the counter, chatting with Jungwoo. They both turned their heads to face her as she stolled in.
"Why do you look so stressed?" Doyoung asked as Jungwoo backed away.
"Mother is coming tonight." Hayoung groaned. Doyoung gave her a confused look.
"Why is she coming?" Doyoung asked her. Hayoung plopped down at one of the tables.
"Because my wedding gown fitting is tomorrow." Hayoung said as a clang sounded from behind the counters.
"Sorry, I dropped something." Jungwoo said, apologizing to both of them. Hayoung noticed Doyoung raise an eyebrow, giving his friend a look as Jungwoo grabbed a cloth to wipe the spill. Doyoung turned his attention back to his sister.
"So neither of us are going to work tomorrow?" Doyoung asked.
"I guess so." Hayoung said. Doyoung nodded before turning to Jungwoo.
"I'm going to head up. I'll see you later?" Doyoung asked.
"Yeah, see you." Jungwoo said. Doyoung gave him a smile before exiting the café. Hayoung got up to follow him Jungwoo called her name.
"Yes?" Hayoung said, making her way to the counter. That's when she noticed the cup in front of Jungwoo.
"Um, it seemed like you could use this." Jungwoo said, pushing the cup towards her. Hayoung smiled as she looked at the latte art.
"Snoopy? I thought you failed at making it." Hayoung said, smiling from ear to ear.
"Yeah, I did. I eventually got it last night though." Jungwoo told her as she smiled sheepishly. Hayoung took her phone out, quickly snapping pictures of the drink before taking it in her hands.
