Hayoung wanted to say that she took Jungwoo's advice but as she sat on in the leather seat of the private jet across from Yuta, she knew for a fact that she wasn't anywhere close.
The two were both dressed nicely as they were supposed to have dinner with Yuta's parents once they arrived. Also, according to Yuta, there would be many cameras and reporters when they arrived.
Yuta was dressed in a creamed coloured suit with a white v-neck shirt underneath. Much to Hayoung's discontent, she was wearing a matching cream coloured pencil skirt and pumps, with a baby blue blouse. The ends of her brown hair curled, flowing down her back.
"Wine?" Yuta asked her, holding the large bottle of red wine.
"Sure." Hayoung replied passing him her wine glass. She watched as Yuta carefully poured the dark liquid before passing it back to her.
Hayoung took a sip, looking at the clouds as they flew. They were supposed to land in an hour. She was so absorbed by the sky, she didn't even notice Yuta wave the waitress away.
"Hayoung." Yuta said, making Hayoung turn back to face him.
"Yes?" Hayoung said, wondering what Yuta had to say to her.
"I would appreciate it if you could keep our living conditions on the down low. Especially the part about my friends." Yuta said, stressing the word. He wants me to cover his butt in front of his parents, that's what he wants. Hayoung thought to herself.
"I wasn't planning on telling them anyways." Hayoung told him. A small smile appeared on Yuta's face, leaning back, a clear sign that he was satisfied with her answer.
"That's good to hear." Yuta said, pulling out the velvet box from his pocket.
...
Hayoung noticed that Yuta was very different in front of others in comparison to when they were alone. While they were waiting for baggage, Yuta had helped her with her luggage bag, passing it off to his family's workers.
Hayoung plasters a fake smile on her face as she took Yuta's arm. It was quite obvious that the two of them were trying to show off their engagement rings as the reporters began surrounding them as they walked through the glass doors of the airport.
One of Yuta's managers guided them to a limousine waiting for them. Once the two got inside, the immediately separated from each other, taking out their phones.
"We're headed to my place, that's where will be staying." Yuta told her.
"Okay." Hayoung replied dully, not really caring about what the male had to say.
...
The Nakamoto family mansion was quite large, looking quite traditional on the outside. It was surrounded by water, a traditional wooden bridge connecting the house to the paths. The inside was modern, with a black and off-white theme, the floors made with wood and and white marble.
