I hadn't been in the best moods lately. My work load was crazy so I barely had any free time to spend with Beyonce. Lately all we've been doing is arguing because I'm never really home. That and the fact that my trust in her was almost non- existent caused us to argue even more. Since I ran into Tori a few weeks ago, I've been questioning everything Beyonce tells me. I was never the insecure type, but I felt like she was hiding something from me. It didn't help that she was always so defensive whenever I asked her about it. I didn't want to believe that she was doing something wrong, but all the signs were pointing right to it. In all the years I've been dating, I can only recall my heart being broken once by someone who I didn't love half as much as I love Beyonce. I didn't like the place we were in and I was ready to do something about it. I decided to reschedule all of my appointments for the next two mornings so I would be free to spend all of my nights at home with her. It was going to be hard on me, but my girl was definitely worth it. I was excited to be pulling up to my last appointment of the day. It was a small medical supply company that we leased a building to in Laplace, Louisiana. They were unsure about renewing their lease so it was my job to make sure they did. Dress casually in some slacks and a button down, I entered the building, ready to get down to business. I ignored the lustful stares from the female employees and made my way to the second floor board room. An hour later, I was leaving my meeting with another signed five year lease. My pops was going to be happy to hear that. I pulled my phone out of my pocket as I headed back to my car. I wanted to call Beyonce to confirm our plans for the night. Before I got a chance to do so, I spotted someone walking across the parking lot. "What's up Bro?" I spoke to Beyonce's brother. He walked towards me with his hand extended for me to shake it. "Hey, what are you doing all the way out here in the country?" He asked. "I had to attend a meeting in the building," I said pointing to the structure behind me. "Ok, that's where I work," he said. "Oh, I didn't know that," I replied. "You and Bey are still together huh?" He asked. "Yeah, we're still hanging in there," I replied with a smile. "That's what's up. I'm happy to hear that. She needs a good man in her life," he said, nodding his approval. "Well, I got to work so I won't hold you up. Tell my sister I'll probably come see them this weekend, it's been a minute since we saw each other," he said. That was strange because according to Beyonce, she had been at her brother's house quite often during the past couple of weeks. "When's the last time you saw her?" I wanted to know. "It's been a minute, probably over two months now. I know her mother is going to curse me out from staying away so long. They refuse to come out here so I always have to go to them," he replied. "Bey's mother isn't my real mother, but the woman raised me, I think I owe her a visit," he added. My heart dropped when he was done talking. Beyonce had straight up lied to me and her brother had just confirmed it. I tried to do the right thing and trust Beyonce, but that was a done deal. "Alright then, it was nice seeing you again. Maybe I'll see you when you come over," I said, giving him dap. He and I said our goodbyes and I was on my way. I hated to admit that Tori could possibly be right about Beyonce being unfaithful. If she wasn't staying at her brother's house when we broke up, then where was she? I knew for a fact that she wasn't at Kelly's or her mother's house because I checked several times. Getting the truth from Beyonce was never going to happen and I knew that for sure. Looking down at my phone, I did something that I promised myself I wouldn't do no matter what happened, I called Tori.
