Poem 27 - No one is here

No one is here,
No one is there,
Everyone is nowhere.

It feels sorrow, but maybe,
Someone'll come tommorow.
Why is it the same today?

Its looking through the window,
Seeing a widow,
The widow is walking away,
"No, please stay!"
But she does not hear.

A person was near,
Now is gone, like everyone else.
Its claws slip from the window,
It feels sad being alone.

Its tail wiggs,
Sitting in front of the door,
Its hope is growing more.
Its claws scratch the door,
But no one is coming home.
It feels sad being alone.

No one is here,
No one is there,
Everyone is nowhere.

These birds have wings,
It only has a tail that wiggs.
It can't fly away,
Hope is leaving it astray.

It's been a few days,
Its head is in daze,
This place resembles a maze.

It runs through the halls,
Between these dark walls,
Until the night falls.

No matter what,
No one is here,
The dog is so hungry,
It would eat a deer.

Its tail is low,
Its movements are slow,
Why is no one coming home?

Can't they see,
it feels sad being alone?
The crow flies above,
The dog remembers all the lies.
The family with him cut ties.

Even the dove,
On the branch,
Isn't so lonely.

The dog scratches the doors,
Making sounds of pain,
The dove continues eating grain.

"Help! Please help!
I don't want to be alone!"

"May I say,
Why don't you just fly away?"

"I don't have wings,
And I'm alone,
I wish I could drink water,
Best would be a gallon."

"I'm hungry and I'm sad,
Everyone left me,
Everyone is all I've had."

"You at least have grain,
All I have left is just pain.
You at least have wings,
I'm stuck with a tail that wiggs."

"I can't stop feeling sorrow,
Because I know,
Nothing will change tommorow."

"My family has left me behind,
Maybe even left me to die.
I've only been living in an empty lie."

The tears are falling from its eyes,
The dog is waiting for its demise,
Here under sorrowful skies,
Raindrops start falling hard,
As the dog cries to the bird bard.

The bird feels sorry,
As it says: "You don't need to worry,
I'll help you out."

"But I don't trust anyone more,
Because I know, I'll just end up alone.
The happiness in me hasn't grown,
Sadness gave me its crown."

"You don't have to be alone,
I'll try to find some water,
Maybe a gallon."

"If you get a balloon,
You could fly so high,
Up to the blue sky."

"Give me a while,
I'll fly a mile,
I promise I will not fail,
I'll deliver your mail."

The dove flies away,
Letting the dog choose its way.
The dog's world has turned gray,
It is again left with pain.

The dog is tired of waiting,
Being sure their meeting,
Won't repeat.
It feels defeat.

No one is here,
The dove is nowhere,
It feels sad being alone,

The dove probably said an empty lie,
And will leave the dog to die.
It lies under the dark skies,
Waiting for its demise.
Living in a world full of lies,
Appears to be nothing nice.

A storm is raging outside,
But the dog is stuck inside,
It walks to the balcony,
Hearing a familiar melody.

It is about someone's felony,
The dog listens closely,
The ground under him,
Feels more loosely.

It starts shaking,
Ignoring the barks the dog is making,
Ignoring the food someone is baking,
Not paying attention,
To its breaking.

The ground breaks,
The dog falls,
No one hearing the barks it makes,

The dog is falling,
Under the dark skies,
Demise is waiting,
The ground keeps shaking.

The dove was an empty lie,
She only left the dog to die.
She was its picture of hope,
Capturing the dog in its rope.

The dove wasn't real,
Only a meal to his mind,
So it feels less alone.

The dog landed,
Its hope faded.

No one was here,
No one was there,
Everyone was nowhere.
Wasn't it sad, feeling alone?

Moral of the story/About:

Making everything rhyme took me exactly 2 hours, 24 minutes and then I got a headache. Moral would probably be don't write long poems with everything rhyming unless you want a headache.

Anyway, this story is about a dog who was left behind in an apartment by its family. It was scratching the door, but no one was coming home. It was so lonely it made up a dove as its imaginary friend. (The dog was desperate for companion). And believed its imaginary friend is real. Then an earthquake came and the dog fell from a balcony. Whether it survived or not is a mystery.
