Writer's block is very real,
Believe writers when they say this.
'Tis not a mere absence of ideas,
But rather, the lack of good ideas.
Or in some cases, we think of amazing, out-of-this-world stories,
But only in the shower.
And unfortunately, the laws of Physics have stated,
That writing in the shower will smudge the ink, and is stupid.
While some people dream of utopian dynasties and anarchist poems,
But only in their sleep.
And as soon as they wake up the idea's gone,
Faster than you could say "Amazon!".
Some writers have another trouble,
When they can think and write down their prompt.
But when it is time to turn it into content,
Their imagination seems absent.
Do believe me when I say,
Writer's block is a dreadful thing.
All writers fear it.
It is a writers' greatest dismay.
