"Isaac!" yelled Sarah and ran across the front of the house to jump into my arms, "Hey Isaac" said both Casper and Jason at the same time. "Hey guys!" I replied and carried Sarah to the entrance of the mansion my dad owned.

"Hey dad" I said as I let go of Sarah and hugged my dad for the first time in years! Which he seemed shocked by? My stepmother seemed shocked by my actions as well. Was I not allowed to hug my own father?

"Sorry" I said as I backed away from my dad that was still in shock and we all later walked inside and up to my room. Chase followed me up the stairs and down the hallways with my trash bags filled with stuff from my old room.

"Isaac, this house is massive!" said Chase and was amazed by my father's house and the sizes we had for our rooms. "You have your own bathroom!?" yelled Chase shocked as he dropped the trash bags on the floor and threw himself onto my new bed, feeling how soft it was.

"Dude! Why won't dad let us live here?" yelled Chase and threw his head back on my pillow, "probably because of that!" I replied and started laughing as I pointed out how he was behaving.

"Haha, sorry" said Chase as he got up from my bed and let me show him around the rest of the house, but dad kept a close eye on us the entire house tour?

It wasn't until after Chase left the house that my dad broke his silence. "Why was he so loud?" asked my father as he brought me to the dinner table, "sorry, he was just excited to see the large house" I simply replied and tried not to end up in a discussion with him.

"Mansion" said my father before taking a sip of wine to the meat we were having for dinner, "What?" I uttered as I didn't really hear what he said. "We live in a mansion, not a house" replied my dad with a laugh and threw his arm around me and made laugh as well.

"Wait, did you just say 'we'?" I asked as I mistakenly interrupted him while he was taking a bite out of his steak. "Well yes of course, you're welcome to stay here till you get your own place" replied my father and showed a shockingly kind side to him. "Oh, thank you!" was all that I could think of saying to thank him.

"No problem at all!" said my father and finally got to take the piece of steak he had waited for, "hopefully you'll buy a house with a wonderful wife and amazing children as I did" continued my father and accidentally shot a mental bullet in me: I haven't told my dad that I'm gay!

I felt sick to my stomach! How would my dad react if he found out? Would I lose everything?

"Are you seeing anyone by the way?" asked my father and tried to get into contact with me as my thoughts ran wild. "Seeing anyone?" I asked as I forced myself to say something, "Yes, dating any of the fraternity ladies?" asked my father and kept burning me with questions I didn't want to answer.

"No, not a lot of girls find me handsome" I forced myself to reply, as I slowly felt sweat gather up under my armpits, probably creating the most horrendous sweat stains.

"Oh, well we could always find you someone" said my father and chuckled away as he kept on sipping on his wine. "Oh, there's no need" I replied faster than I had ever done and shoved a fork with a mixture between meat and vegetables in my mouth.

"Oh, stop it! We know that you're just shy!" continued my father and didn't want to let go of this conversation. The only thing that stopped him, was the house intercom, saying that the new pool cleaner had arrived.

"Please, excuse me for a moment" said my father before he left the table and left us all in silence. My father's girlfriend didn't say much either, she just sat there like the trophy wife that she was and ate her food in silence.

It was so quiet that I could almost hear my father's entire conversation with the pool cleaner. The silence started making me feel uncomfortable. It wasn't until Trudy the chef came back to the kitchen to wash the kitchen that I broke the silence, when I said: Loved the food Trudy!

"Oh, thank you Isaac!" said Trudy and gave me the most heartwarming smile. Jason, Casper and Sarah were quick to say the same thing. It almost seemed like Trudy was shocked to hear them say that.
