Another school week had started at last and I sat throughout an entire day with boring classes. Mitch tried to entertain me during the breaks, but it didn't help much at all to be honest. School was still as boring as it used to be.
I got back at the fraternity house right after school was done and I immediately went up to my room and grabbed one of the new books I had gotten for Christmas.
"Hey, did you run to get here?" asked Mitch as he closed the bedroom door behind him and emptied his entire backpack onto his bed to find his homework. "No, I just walked?" I simply replied and didn't take my eyes of my book.
"Why were you asking?" I asked as I flipped to the next page of my book, not realizing that I only had passed page 50 of my book.
"I was just wondering, because it almost seemed like Justin was waiting for someone when I left" replied Mitch and piqued my interest in what he was saying. "Wait, what?" I said as I threw my book onto my bed and watched as he sat down on his bed, ready to gossip.
"Well, he kept on looking around. Like as if he was looking for someone" explained Mitch and threw away his homework and acknowledged my interest of knowing more, "Did he see you?" I asked and leaned in closer to hear what Mitch had to say. "It almost seemed like he was looking for you?" continued Mitch and questioned himself.
"Why do you think that?" I asked and also started questioning what he said? "Well, he saw me and saw that I was alone and then he just ran off?" explained Mitch and yet again questioned what he said.
"Oh, well maybe he did look for me?" I said and tried to cope with what Mitch theorized about. "What do you think he wants?" asked Mitch and grabbed his homework to start doing them before it got too late. "I don't know?" I replied unsure and grabbed my book again to read, but still I theorized what Justin wanted?
I sat and read through my book, up and down each page, each chapter until the constant sound of Mitch's pen drove me crazy! So, I calmly put my book back on my bookshelf and left the room, leaving Mitch to question everything.
I went downstairs and sat in the living room of the house and just listened to some tunes, until Mitch eventually just left the house?
"Hey, where are you going?" I asked as I ran from the couch to the front door, "I'm just going for a walk!" replied Mitch before he continued to walk up the street and out of my range of vision.
I walked back inside only to sit back on the same exact spot as I sat in before and contemplated if I was going to go upstairs before the other guys got home or if I should stay down here? I was caught off guard though, when the front door opened by itself!
"Hello?" I asked as I slowly contoured myself up from the couch and behind it to hide from whoever the intruder was. "Hey!" replied someone wearing a brown leather jacket and a biker-helmet.
"Jake?" I yelled as I jumped over the couch and threw myself into his arms, "Hey there!" he replied and chuckled as he took of his helmet. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I helped him get off his helmet and was shocked to see that he had completely changed!
His clean-shaven face was now rough and had stubbles, his hair had changed as well! He had started to grow it out and didn't use as much hair products as he usually did?
"Wow, what happened to you?" I asked in shock as he looked more handsome than ever! "Well, I transferred school I guess" he replied in a jokingly way and scuffled a bit. "What are you doing here?" I asked again and kept my eyes on him as he took of his leather jacket to reveal that he had gained some muscles from the last time we saw each other as well.
"I came because you called the other day, it seemed like you needed someone to talk to" he replied and grabbed a helmet he had brought with him. "Wanna join for a ride?" he asked as he handed me the helmet and walked over to the fridge to grab himself a bottle of water.
"Yes" I replied as he walked over to grab his own helmet. I walked out of the house and I sat as closely behind him on his bike as possible, before we drove off.
