"Do you like my son?"

As much as I want to laugh out loud, I know that will be rude to them, so I tried not to and maintain my blank expression.

What made them think that I like Lee Taeyong?

But still, I've never thought I'll be eating dinner with the very people who want to erase me and my kind.

It all started in the fourth day of the bet. Nothing much was done but I still enjoyed it. The fourth day is known for being the performing arts day, singing, dancing and many more competitions connected to arts and performances. We watched some of those competitions and strolled around the university as usual, until we got bored and just went back to the garden where we always spend our time. That's when he invited me to his mansion to meet his parents before we even go the ball. Saying that his parents wants to meet me as his partner to the event.

Of course, I agreed but hesitantly. To be honest I almost rejected it, even if it was fine to him, but not for me. They are the most narrow minded people, I know it, and my rejection will surely made them suspicious about me. "The head are already struggling in hiding us in anyway possible, I don't want to add them more things to do so I'm going. "Are you really are sure about this, princess?" Chanyeol oppa asked.

I nodded, "Yes," with conviction I said then turned to my brother, "You always say that I won't know what's what if I don't take risk and if I'm always in the safe side, and now that I'm here, you won't let me? Seriously? That's so unfair oppa," I said. "You're not the only direct descendant of the king here, you're not the only one who will free us from the treat of deity hunting. I too, am a direct descendant of the once king, I too, has a responsibility to free us from deity hunting, that's why I'm going," I said with conviction and smiled at him. "Don't worry, it's not like I'm going in a war wherein there's a chance that I'll die, it's just a dinner talk."

And so yeah, he finally let me but made Jisoo unnie make ability gems to attached in my earrings, bracelets, necklace and ring. He made me wear this all despite my rejection since I'm not a fan of wearing jewelries and accessories, but he made me wear this all right since he was scared that maybe I can't stand those heads and set a rampage instead and let everyone know that I'm a human deity. And I don't want to think about it but all this time, that was the reason he doesn't want me to go because he knows my temper and all.
