Draco's POV

After Potions, we had a double period of charms with Professor Flitwick which seemed kinda cool.

We arrived at the classroom and saw the Hufflepuffs waiting outside, most of them smiled or waved at us while having conversations with one another. I knew one or two of them already but a lot of them were muggleborns. For example, I knew Anthony Goldstein, a halfblood, the product of a respected pureblood wizard and a muggleborn witch, not unlike Harry.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with muggleborns, halfbloods or even muggles, it was a persona my family put on for my parents' families who actually are pureblood extremists. We really don't  care what magical status you are, it was just expected of us to, so that's what we made them think.

We were let into the classroom pretty much straight away by the teacher. Flitwick seemed good natured and nice enough, plus I loved the concept of charms so I thought that it would be a subject I enjoyed and looked forward to, I was right by the way.

Practically all of the lesson was revising the text book but unlike other lessons, we were allowed to talk as we did so.

When I looked over at Harry, he wasn't reading, he had his arm around some sort of book so that no one could see what he was... writing? I didn't know what he was doing to be honest but he looked adorable doing it. He was concentrating a lot, causing his tongue to peak out of the side of his lips and his eyebrows to furrow together just a little. I didn't want to break his concentration since he wasn't doing any harm, I knew for a fact that he'd already read the entire book, front to back, so instead of disturbing him, I watched him, he was very delicate in the movements he made with his quill, almost as if one line could mess everything up.

Before I knew it, the lesson was over and it was a good thing that I'd already read the chapter because the majority of my time, though it's rather embarrassing to admit, was spent looking at Harry.

"Are you okay, Dray?" I heard Pansy ask.

"Hm? Me? Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"You seem a little distracted, that's all," she raised her eyebrow.

Blaise nodded, "she's right, mate, you have been rather distracted today."

I blushed a little, "Have not," I crossed my arms stubbornly. I had not been distracted, had I? Sure, I had spent almost an entire lesson watching Harry, but I was just curious as to what he was doing, I wasn't that distracted.

My friends both shook their heads but left it at that.

Next, we had double herbology with Hufflepuff again which was incredibly boring. All we did was look at different plants that we couldn't touch or actually do anything with. We were supposed to identify them based on the knowledge from our books which were awfully dull to read, I must say.

After Herbology, it was lunch. My friends and I sat at the end of the Slytherin table whilst eating.

Before I began eating, I noticed Harry taking a potion again before quickly downing his water with a grimace. I imagine it had to have been vile to get that reaction out of him. What potion was it anyway?

A voice pulled me from my thoughts suddenly and made me roll my eyes instantly. It was Andrew.

"Hiya guys! How was your first day?" He sat next to my Harry with a stupid cheery smile on his face. I wanted to tell him to go away but that would've been incredibly rude especially since my friends liked him.

Harry started talking to him almost immediately, "Hey, Andy! Today's been great so far! It's amazing to think that there's this world that a lot of people don't know about that we get to be a part of. I can't wait to actually do some magic!"

Andrew nodded, listening intently to his friend's words. Then he looked at Harry's still empty plate, of which Pansy had been death staring. Once Harry had stopped talking, he immediately started.

"Harry, I don't mean to nag but could you please eat something? You're not going to get any healthier without a decent amount of food," he gave a pointed look, "I don't want any arguments from you, tiny, if you don't get food onto that plate now, I'll put it there myself and make sure you eat it. I just want you to be healthy and happy, okay?"

The small boy looked down before meeting Andrew's eyes and muttering, "I'll try," before slowly putting a few items onto his plate.

I may hate the guy but at least he managed to get Harry to eat something, we wanted him to but we didn't think we should interfere with his eating habits right then, or it may compromise our friendship. Though it didn't stop Pansy all that much, she still tried to make him eat something at least.

A/N hey guys, I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I'm sorry it's a little later than usual. Thank you for reading. I hope you have an amazing morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are x
