Harry's POV
I shouldn't have lost my temper back there, now I was actually going to be expelled.
Weasley, Finnegan, Draco and I were stood in front of Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall, both of whom looked mad.
"Would anyone like to explain what happened back there?" McGonagall asked calmly, when no one answered, she asked the Gryffindors for their side of the story first.
Weasley answered while Finnegan stood nodding along, "You see, Professor, we were just checking on how Nott was doing after he fell off of his broom earlier when Potter told us to get lost before he makes us. He threatened us with physical violence, Professor, I recall you saying that physical violence wasn't tolerated here when I accidentally knocked Nott. Potter then insulted me and my family as well as saying I was mental."
You could see him trying to hide a smirk behind his charade of innocence of course everything he just said was a lie and it looked as though the teachers knew that it was.
They turned to Draco and I for our side of the story next which I told.
"When Weasley approached us in the Great Hall, he wasn't there to check up on Theo, instead he was there to tease me about getting expelled but when I informed him that I wasn't expelled, he got angry. Then he told me that he'd see me in detention to which I told him that he wouldn't and if he did, he may need to get his head checked as he would be hallucinating. I obviously didn't think Weasley would take it that personally but he did and in turn called me a spoilt brat who always gets what I want. Of course that is not the case and I got angry and honestly quite upset but I never threatened them with anything, I did briefly lose control of my magic however causing the wind to pick up around us but that was it."
I looked at the Gryffindors who were scowling at me.
Snape stepped in then, "Well, boys, those are two completely different stories there. As Draco's godfather, I can legally extract his memories or give him truth serum. As you two," he looked at the other two boys, "both have at least one magical parent each who can consent to this happening to you also with just one floo call. I suggest one of you four tell me whose story is correct before I have to resort to those methods. Bullying at Hogwarts will not be tolerated and the punishment will be a weeks worth of detention with Mr Filch on top of any detentions you may already have. Do any of you have anything to say?"
Draco and I stayed silent and still while Weasley and Finnegan were exchanging looks, clearly trying to decide what to do without giving anything away. In the end, Weasley won the silent argument and they stayed quiet.
"Well then, boys, you have made your decisions to stay quiet. Draco, come over here please. You will be given truth serum and I shall hear which story is correct. Do you agree Professor McGonagall?" He looked to his colleague while Draco walked towards where he stood.
McGonagall nodded her head to agree with his method before Snape pulled a small vial of something that looked like water from his pocket and told Draco to open his mouth so a few drops of it could be put on his tongue. After a few moments, the head of Gryffindor spoke.
"Mr Malfoy, would you please tell us whose story is correct, Mr Potter's or Mr Weasley's?"
Draco answered without a second thought, "Harry's is right, Professor. Weasley came over to pick on him and he merely defended himself."
The look that the professors gave Weasley was simply awful. Gods I'm glad I wasn't in his place at that moment.
