Draco's POV
Dinner was even more amazing than usual despite being sat so close to the old fool we call a headmaster. Everyone was laughing and chatting like a large, happy family though all the Weasley kids attending school at that point were also there. Granted, the twins weren't too bad, they would've made great Slytherins and the prefect did scold Weasel every time he was rude.
Eclipse occasionally peeped her head from Harry's sleeve and nicked my food, I don't think she likes me very much even though she's clearly developing a familiar bond with my best friend. She only took my food too, she didn't touch Pansy's or Harry's.
After we all finished eating, we stayed at the table and pulled Christmas crackers. All sorts came out of them, Harry even got three white mice that scurried off just for Eclipse to chase and eat them.
Dumbledore was, as usual, unnaturally happy. I swear to the gods that man is on something or other.
Other than sitting by Dumbleduche, dinner was amazing and full of laughs. I even saw Uncle Sev crack a few smiles and even chuckles.
Harry was happier than I think I've ever seen him though this morning's confusion to his presents made me even more concerned than I was before. I know somethings gone on at his home, I just don't know what.
After dinner, Harry, Pansy and I made our way back to the common room again where we laughed and messed around for hours on end. This was the best Christmas ever.
A/N hey, I know it's really really short and I do apologise but I wanted to say that it may take a while to update as I've just got back from the hospital with a possibly broken but suspected sprained wrist and the splint I was given restricts the movement of my hand so I can barely use my phone properly.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the short chapter and I hope you all have an amazing morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are x
