Exploring new thingsThe sun is barely rising in the sky as the pair steps outside, the boy growing more and more curious about an object the girl mentioned the day before.
In order to go to and from the book cafe, EunAe mentioned an object called a "bicycle", which she said she rides everyday to get there quicker.
Although walking through town is nice and quite relaxing, sometimes there is just not enough time to take a leisure walk, thus leading her to one of her favorite alternatives.
The infamous bicycle.
Namjoon analyzes the object in front of him with curious eyes, lifting his gaze to meet hers once he is finished with his analysis.
"So this is what you ride to work?" He asks.
"Pretty much." The girl answers with a small shrug, her cheeks a light shade of pink.
"How do you use it?" He asks, his hand holding on to the one of the handlebars, moving it from side to side to test it out.
"Let me show you." She says with a smile.
The boy steps to the side and watches in amazement as the girl rides the two wheeled object, his eyes fixed on her figure as rides around him in circles.
"Woah..."
After a good minute of circling, the girl slows down and gently presses the brake, stopping in front of him.
"So what do you think?" The girl asks.
"I like it." He says with a smile. "It's quite interesting." He adds making her nod, the corners of her lips slightly lifting up in agreement.
"Come on. I'll give you a ride." She says motioning him over.
"Okay!" He answers without hesitation, quickly positioning himself on the metal part behind the seat.
"Hold on tight." She says looking over her shoulder with a smile.
Confused, Namjoon slightly frowns but nods none the less, hands slowly coming up to rest on her shoulders.
"Um, is this okay?" He asks.
"Yes. Ready?" She asks, her body propelled forward as she gets ready for take off, as soon as she receives a nod, the girl starts pedaling with all her might. "Let's gooooo!"
Everything seems to be going fine in the beginning, that is until they hear a constant scratching sound as they ride.
"Ummm EunAe? I don't think this is going to work." Namjoon points out scratching his temple.
EunAe can see what he means when she stops, her eyes glancing at the boy's long legs. The bike is of a decent size given the girls height, but given that boy is taller than her by quite some centimeters, his legs scrape against the paved roads when they ride.
He might just be a little too tall for her bike.
"Hmm..." EunAe softly hums creasing her brows together. Well, this is something she did not see coming when the idea came to mind.
Now that she thinks about it, it would make more sense for him to ride it, but could he really learn it so fast?
"Namjoon, do you want to try riding the bike?" She asks after quietly thinking it over for a short while.
