After a long winter...EunAe finds herself unable to look away from him, her forearms gently resting on his shoulders as she stares into his dark brown eyes. Her eyes drinking in his image, taking in his every detail, still not believing he is actually here.
At that moment, she finds herself lost in his warmth filled gaze, the world around her completely fading into the background, almost as if she is in a completely different world, the world she had waited so long to see, the world of him. Almost as if his eyes were a blackhole drawing her into a completely different dimension where time and space don't matter. The boy doesn't seem to mind, he himself admiring the sparkly eyes of the girl he missed so much.
As unbelievable as it may sound, having him standing in front of her made her miss him even more, years of his absence crashing over her like a wave. Yet at the same time it somehow felt as if they never parted ways.
Einstein said, time is relative, and EunAe couldn't agree more, it was as if time had simply paused for a while and now that they found each other again, it simply resumed, even though the world around them showed the passage of time, their long winter now turning to a warm and pleasant spring.
Finally broken out her trance after what seemed like an eternity, EunAe gently cups his face once more before her hand moves to the side of his face, wiping a drop that escaped his still wet hair.
Then realization dawns on her, as she notices that they are still soaked from head to toe.
"Right." EunAe says pursing her lips to suppress a grin. "We need to change into something warm before we can do anything else." She adds with a small chuckle as she smiles at him. "Wait here."
Namjoon watches as the girl disappears somewhere down the dim lit hallway, reappearing moments later with a bag in her hands.
"Here." She says extending her arms, a pink blush coating her cheeks as she hands him the bag of clothes she had bought just in case he ever decided to come to land.
A slight smirk forms on Namjoon's lips when he looks at the contents in the bag, which slowly grows into a smile as he follows the girl into the bathroom.
"I'll let you get changed." EunAe says stepping away to give him some space. She had only walked a few steps when she remembers something else.
"Are you hungry?" EunAe asks, and as if on cue, his stomach growls. The girl couldn't hear him given that she was a few meters away, but the shy boy still blushes as he pokes his head through the door giving her a small nod.
He had been so distracted all day, that he hadn't realized he hadn't eaten ever since he arrived.
"Okay, I'll make something to eat." She says with a smile, hurrying to kitchen to start preparing everything.
"Um EunAe?" Namjoon calls out from the hallway, "where should I put the wet clothes?"
"Just leave them in the hall." The girl shouts from somewhere in the kitchen.
Nodding his head, Namjoon carefully places the wet clothes on the wooden floor, awkwardly making his way to the living room to wait for her.
"Alright!" EunAe says with a smile. "I made these for now and the tea should be out in a bit." She explains setting the plate on the small wooden table.
