"Close your eyes EunAe." Namjoon whispers in her ear.
Relaxing into his touch, she closes her eyes, feeling his heartbeat through his shirt, echoing along with the sound of the waves.
Taking a deep breath, she walks farther into the water, briefly holding her breath as she feels the force of the ocean around her.
"Do you feel it?" He asks, the girl turning around in his arms with a smile.
"It's amazing." She breathes out, eyes sparkling as she looks at him.
"Right? It's something different. A deeper dive without having to go in deep. Whenever you miss me, remember this."
With a faint smile on her lips, EunAe takes slow steps, hands outstretched as she makes a connection with the ocean.
Bringing her hand to her shoulder, she covers the aching area with water, exhaling as the stinging calms down until it's nothing more than a faint tingle.
How far out there are you? She wonders, staring at the wide horizon. He could be anywhere in the world at this moment.
If she focuses hard enough, she can almost see him in the distance.
She pictures his figure waving at her, making his way towards her and reaching to her through the water.
Her heart aches at the thought.
Reaching for the conch he gave her, the girl brings it up to her lips, tears running down her cheeks as she pours her feelings into the shell, hoping that her feelings can reach him well.
Please come back to me. She begs. Please come back to me soon.

Far away, Namjoon also thinks of her.
Is she doing well? Is she eating? Is she safe?
With a heavy sigh, he runs his hands through his hair, a habit he picked up while on land, his gaze lost as he stares up at the surface.
Hyung. Hyung? Hyung! Taehyung calls out, waving his hand in front of him to get his attention.
He was so caught up in his trance that he didn't notice his younger brother calling to him.

Are you okay hyung? The youngest asks, brows furrowed as he worriedly examines him.
I'm fine Tae. He responds. Just got lost in thought and lost track of time.
Taehyung nods in understanding. Well, I just wanted to let you know that we're moving soon.

With that, he swims away, leaving Namjoon with his thoughts again.
Perhaps he should go up to get some air. Help him clear his head.
It was a mistake.
As soon as his head is above the water, he thinks of her again.
He knows that he is miles away, but his heart is still with her.
With every fiber in his being, he has to fight the urge to swim back to her.

"Joon?" Someone calls out, this time Jin breaking him out of his thoughts. "We're leaving now." He says. "Everyone rested up already so we are going to get moving."
"Right, yeah." Namjoon says nodding his head, his brother offering a sympathetic smile as he pats his shoulder.
"Don't worry Joon-ah, I'm sure she is doing well."
"Thanks hyung. Shall we?"
As they are about to submerge, Namjoon stops in his tracks when he hears the sound of her conch, his heart clenching when he hears the sound.
Everyday, she tells him how much she misses him without fail, and even though he is miles away, he hears her voice every time, the sea breeze carrying the sound of the shell.
