The official bonding of heartsA gentle breeze blows, accompanied by the salty scent of the sea, the couple smiling at each other as they walk side by side.
The day has finally come.
"See you in a bit." Namjoon says with a smile.
"See you in a bit." EunAe replies, her cheeks flushed as she looks at him.
In just a few hours, the ceremony for the official bonding of their hearts will begin. But until then, there is still much to do.
"Come on you two." Hoseok says, stepping in between the couple to get their attention. "You'll see each other in a bit. You need to start getting ready."
When they don't move, Hoseok lets out a soft groan, firmly placing his hands on his friend's shoulder, putting all the strength he can muster into his arms as he attempts to drag the boy away, the girl giggling behind them as they disappear into another room.
"Come on." Her best friend says. "We need to start getting ready as well."
Hoseok immediately busies himself as soon as they enter the room, Namjoon frozen in place as realization dawns on him.
"Are you nervous?" Hoseok asks as his friend sits down.
"A bit. Yeah." Namjoon replies with a brief, short chuckle.
"Don't worry my friend. Everything will be alright." He reassures patting his shoulder. "You'll see."
"I hope so." Namjoon says, letting out a long exhale as he tries to relax his tense muscles, the knot on his stomach tightening as he looks into the mirror.

Namjoon is the first one to arrive, the few guests they invited already gathered around, waiting for the ceremony to begin.
"Thank you all for coming." Namjoon says with a respectful bow. "It means a lot to have you all here with us."
"We wouldn't miss it hyung." Jimin says with a smile, his eyes creasing into crescents as he pats the older boy's shoulder.
"How many people are coming?"
"Not many." Namjoon says, scratching his temple as he looks around. "I think almost everyone is here."
"I see." Jimin responds with a nod. Noticing how nervous his friend looks, Jimin offers another smiles and mutters a low 'fighting' making the older boy finally crack a grin.
Excusing himself, Jimin walks away to find himself a seat, Namjoon letting out another heavy sigh in an attempt of releasing some of the pressure in his chest.
"It's different, isn't it?" Yoongi asks as he stands next to the boy, who nods in response.
"Very." He admits. "But it's exciting at the same time. Humans really have a way of making things special."
"Yeah." Yoongi agrees. After a brief pause, Namjoon speaks up again.
"Thanks for all your help hyung." Namjoon says turning to look at him. "We wouldn't have been able to be here without you."
