        Isabelle POV

The sound of my teacher is playing in the background as the thumping of my heart consumes my earlobes. What that girl said keeps repeating in my head like a broken record. I don't want to find out what she'll do the next time we meet. I don't think I can handle anymore. I slouch in my seat, feeling the weight of everything getting to heavy.

I sit, glued to my seat until I feel a gentle tap on my shoulder. I look up to see my teacher, Ms. Gilham standing in front of my desk. " Isabelle, the bell rung. You don't want to be late for your next class."

I slowly nod my head, releasing myself from my trace. " You're right. Sorry I was spaced out." I tell her. She gives me a warm smile. " Hurry along now." I pick my backpack off the floor and hurry out of the classroom, but not before I see Ms.Gilhams face turn into a frown. Okay, I have to clear my head. Don't focus on the bad stuff.

The rest of my classes go by fast until lunch comes around. I enter the cafeteria and head to the lunch line.I make my way in and out of the line fast. I take my seat in the back of the cafeteria, away from prying eyes. I use this time to relax and calm myself down. The initial shock of everything that's happened so far is gone. I take a bite of my food when I am interrupted by the sound of laughter a few feet away from me. I see the group of cheerleaders sitting at their table giggling about something, but what really catches my attention is the girl sitting at the center of that table.

The girl who threatened me. Not only that but she is telling something to the head cheerleader; Rosa, she is just as terrifying as the other girl. When she gives a command, her followers do whatever she says. If you're on the other side of her attack God help you. Just the picture of her fire red hair resembles the pits of hell. Everything thing she does from the way she walks to the way she talks is coated in poison. The fact that both of them know each other scares the crap out of me. I can feel the bile rising in my throat. The sound of a tray hitting the table makes me swallow it back down.

I am met with a pair of midnight black eyes and wavy black hair that cascades down this persons shoulders. She's gorgeous. " Hey, I was wondering if you were alright." I see the genuine concern in her eyes. " You Probably don't remember me, but i'm the girl who called for help the other day.

Suddenly her voice starts to register in my brain. She must be the girl I heard before passing out. " Are you okay. Well, I guess you're fine since you're here right?" I search my brain for the right thing to say and force myself to speak.

" Ah huh." I respond weakly. She lets out a loud sigh, while placing her hand on her chest. " Well, that's a relief. You really scared me." She admits. I...scared...her?

" You looked like you were about to die and I was freaking out cause I've never seen anything like that happen. Let me tell you something just between you and me." She leans in closer. " I almost peed my pants." She lets out an angelic laugh for a few moments before she realizes that I'm not joining in.

" What's the matter? You seem out of it." Her eyes search mine for any signs of me passing out again. When she deems everything okay, she scrunches up her nose. " You know something, you're different." She states. She puts her hand on her chin for a second. " but I like different. We should be friends." She declares.

" What do you say." She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively.

I can't help but laugh out loud at how child like she is. Unfortunately she takes that as a yes. " Great. I have to go but I'll see you around." She says with every word covered in sugar. I could get a cavity listening to her. When she leaves I feel a bit of the weight being released from my shoulders. For a split second I feel a tiny spark of joy, before I remember that I'm still being alienated by the rest of the school, being tormented at home and by a group of girls who hate me for no reason.
