Before You Start Reading: A Quick Announcement
I wanted to share something exciting before you dive into the story. My best friend, Purple_Dragon_Stuff, did something similar in her Descendants fanfic, Left Behind—which you should definitely check out if you're a fan of Jay! Inspired by her approach, I decided to incorporate a similar idea into my own fanfiction.
In this story, I'll be using songs just like the movies do. However, I won't be including all the songs from the films. Instead, I'll be skipping some, adding new ones, and even altering a few lyrics to better fit the story. Whenever there's a song in a chapter, I'll include the original version at the top so you can listen to it and get a feel for the melody.
To make it easy to follow along, all lyrics will be in bold text, especially since there might be dialogue interspersed with the lyrics.
