Eoin drove Roxie and himself to a quaint looking little pub.
"This place is adorable." She told him as they walked in. He held the door open for her, like a true gentleman. They found a small table in a back corner and slipped off their jackets. Eoin's phone buzzed and he quickly checked it.
"It's my mate. The one that likes your channel. He's jealous that we're hanging out."
"I'd love to meet him, if he'd like to come."
Eoin smiled, "That would be awesome. He'd be so happy." he pulled out his phone and texted his friend back.
A waitress came to the table to take their orders. Eoin ordered a dish called Toad in the Hole and Roxie ordered just a burger with fries.
"So, where should we go next." Eoin asked.
"What is there that's fun?"
"We could go on a tour. Ah, there's my mate." He stood up and waved at a young man with dark hair and blue eyes. "Roxie, this is Colin. Colin, this is Roxie." Colin was looking at Roxie with a huge smile on his face. "Colin, don't be weird." Eoin said, teasing Colin.
Colin looked sheepish, "Sorry, I'm a huge fan."
"It's alright." She said with a smile. They all sat and chatted, Eoin's friend was very funny and was always making Eoin laugh.
"I should vlog this." She said when the food arrived. She pulled out her camera and filmed a little, getting both Eoin and Colin in the shots. She wanted to make her new friends feel included.
"What are you doing tomorrow night?" Colin asked awhile later as they got ready to leave.
"I'm honestly not sure. I'll be doing stuff with my family probably." She said, realizing that she likely wouldn't be able to spend to much time with Eoin.
"Tomorrow night we're doing a pub crawl with a friend for his birthday. It doesn't start until later on. I'm inviting you." Colin said.
Roxie smiled, "That sounds really fun. It was lovely to meet you Colin, I hope to see you tomorrow night." She gave him a big hug and followed Eoin to his car.
"You don't have to come if you don't want." Eoin told her.
"Do you not want me to?"
"No! I'd love it if you came. I just didn't want for you to feel as if you had to."
"I'd really like to come. Where does it start? should I meet you there?"
Eoin thought a moment. "I'll come get you, then we can bring my car back to my place and walk over to the pub. Then at the end of the night someone will put you in a cab." They pulled the drive way of Fergus' parents house and Roxie turned to Eoin.
"I had a lot of fun today. Thank you for showing me around."
"It's no problem, I enjoyed it. Maybe next time we could go to a museum or two."
"That would be nice. See you tomorrow then?"
He waited until she got inside, waving before driving off.
