Roxie turned on her camera and turned it to film herself.
"Hi guys. So by the time you see this, Eoin and I will be married! We decided to go down to the court house and just do it. Mom, Dad, Susan. Sorry we didn't invite you, but we promise we'll have a proper thing. So right now, I'm at this little boutique, Eoin told me to pick out a dress while he gets a ring from this antique shop we found, and um, ya. I'll keep you guys posted." She shut the camera and started looking through the dresses. She wasn't sure if she wanted a white one. Holding up the two she was torn between a voice came from behind her.
"Well, let's see you try it on!" She flung her head around and saw Grace, Hannah and Mamrie. "Personally, I love the ivory one." Grace continued.
"What are you guys doing here?" Roxie asked, shocked.
"Eoin called us. He said you'd want your girlies around." Hannah replied, looking through the racks and pulling out a shirt.
"So, you guys are getting married." Mamrie said. Roxie worried that they would disapprove, "Thats incredibly romantic."She added, causing Roxie to sigh in relief.
"Let's get you ready."
Roxie tried on both dresses and modelled them for her friends. They ooh'd and ahh'd at both, but the white one was deemed the winner. It was lacy and fell down to her knees.
They went back to her house and they all got ready together. Eoin had been back home and had left some champagne and a note for Roxie.
"What's it say? Or is it for your eyes only." Grace asked, getting into the champagne.
"It just says that he can't wait to marry me. All that gushy stuff."
"Ew, gag me."Grace said.
They laughed and got ready together. Roxie excused herself and sat in her room, she was excited. Looking in the mirror at herself, she smiled. Her shoulder length hair was wavy and she had added some small braids. She checked her phone and saw that it was getting close to leaving time. She slipped on her favourite purple high heels and went out to the living room.
"It's time."
They all piled into Hannah's car and made their way to the court house. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Eoin waiting for her at the entrance. She jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped and ran to him, jumping onto his arms.
"Ready to get married?" He asked before softly kissing her. She nodded excitedly. He took her hand and they walked up the stairs together. He stopped and pulled the ring box out of his pocket and opened it up for her. "Like it?" His eyes never left her face.
"Wow, I do. It's so pretty." She looked at the gold band with the light pink diamond.
The smile that Eoin flashed was the biggest she had ever seen. He reached up and undid his chain, sliding his father's wedding ring off then handing it to her.
She held onto it tightly and took his hand again.
Roxie was amazed at how much work Eoin had put into organizing this. Everything was set up and ready when she got there. They went into the room and the judge smiled at them both.
"Let's get you two married." He said with a smile.
Their rings both fit perfectly and finally the judge declared them man and wife. Eoin grabbed her and kissed her, dipping her low.
