Roxie woke up, nice and cozy in the large bed. She sat up quickly when she realized she was in a room she had never seen before. she was relieved that she was still dressed, but still alarmed that she didn't remember how she got there. Laughter came from another room, the loudest of which Roxie recognized as Eoin's. She got out of the bed and made her way to the voices.
She found Colin, Bradley and Eoin standing near the front door. Bradley and Colin had on their coats and appeared to be on their way out.
"Morning sleepy head." Eoin said with a smile. Roxie smiled back and joined Eoin in bidding his friends farewell.
"It was lovely meeting you."Bradley said shaking her hand, "I hope to see you again before you go home."
Colin leaned in and hugged Roxie. "Well, we best be off." He said with a wink. Roxie laughed, she had really enjoyed spending time with them both.
"I leave on the thirtieth, so we'll certainly need to get together before then." She grabbed Bradley and pulled him for a hug too.
They left, leaving Eoin and Roxie alone. "You hungry?" He asked. He walked barefoot into his kitchen, Roxie following him.
"Not really. Just some coffee, if you have any made."
While he got busy fixing them both a cup of coffee, Roxie wandered around looking at his stuff. He found her checking out his tremendous bookshelf.
"Here." He said, handing her the large white mug. He watched her as she sipped at her coffee.
"Eoin, I'm sorry about last night. I shouldn't have drunk so much. I feel bad that you had to take care of me."
"Nah, it's alright. You were having fun. And you're lucky you're a cute drunk." He took a big sip of his coffee and smiled at her, making her heart flutter.
She rolled her eyes at him, "You're a liar." She told him, making him laugh at her.
"Finish up your coffee and I'll take you home, you crazy girl." Eoin said with a wink.
They both finished their coffee and got ready to leave. It had slightly snowed the night before and there was a layer of fresh, white snow everywhere.
"Wow, it's so beautiful here." She said as they drove. She was watching the scenery pass as they drove the short distance to Fergus' parents place.
"Yeah, it is. I always miss it so much when I'm away." He said with a sigh.
They arrived at their destination a short while later. Eoin turned off the car and sat there.
"Do you want to do something tonight?" He asked.
She sighed, "I have to edit and upload a video. I would love to hang out with you, but I really need to do this work."She said, she was sort of sad that she had to say no to him.
She got out of the car and headed up the steps of the house. Eoin waited until she was inside before driving off, and Roxie couldn't help but notice how sad he had looked.
