There was a knock on Roxie's door and she pulled herself up off the couch and went to open it up. She groaned when she saw Grace, Hannah and Mamrie standing there with bags.
"We're having a sleep over." Mamrie announced. The three of them bustled in and set their bags down around her. Hannah pulled out some wine while Grace dug around the cabinets, looking for glasses.
"Guys, I don't know if I up for this tonight."
"You need this. You need to talk to someone about this. You're not alright, Roxie." Mamrie continued.
"You're wearing his sweater." Hannah said softly.
The four of them sat around in their pyjamas and drank the wine while Roxie explained to them what had happened.
"You broke up with him because one day you guys might have kids and you're concerned as to where you'd live." Grace asked slowly, trying to understand what Roxie was telling them. Roxie nodded and her friends all looked at each other.
"But you guys love each other." Hannah said sadly, the wine clearly taking its toll on her.
"Sometimes it just doesn't work." She downed the last of her wine.
"Alright, enough of this depressing shit. Lets film a YDAD." Mamrie hopped up and went to one of her bags and started pulling stuff out of her bag.
A short while later Roxie was looking at her friends passed out one the floor of her living room. She was glad that they came over, she really had a lot of fun filming with them. The drink Mamrie had made was delicious, and the jokes were on point.
She laid down and pulled the blanket up around her. As it had over the past few nights, her thoughts drifted to Eoin and she wondered what he was doing.
