Chapter 5~Beach house

Hinatas POV

We picked up our suitcases, and headed to meet his 2 friends that would be picking us up, Maria and João. They're veryy good friends of  Davi and i, we all used to hangout when i was little!! gosh i miss those days. They are amazing volleyball players, and when i say amazing, i mean it!! They're trying out to be on a national level volleyball team!! i'm rooting for them! i'm also really looking forward to them helping me out with my volleyball skills, strength, and speed!!

Davi and i headed out the sliding doors and waited in the front area outside the airport waiting for their car to pull up. I was anxiously waiting, it's my first time seeing them since, hmm 4 years ago? what if they don't like me? what if they think i'm a bad volleyball player? what if, what if, what if. I started to tap my foot against the concrete faster and faster.

"Hey it's gonna be alright! nothing to be anxious about! they are still the hyper and loving Maria and João!"

"yeah!"

A few minutes passed, i saw them!! they pulled up beside the sidewalk, and walked out of their car. They came running and gave Davi and i a tight hug.

"I missed you shrimp!! tell me everything about miyagi once we get to the beach house"

"wait beach house? i thought i was staying in Davis apartment?"

I questioned Maria.

"Ohh so you haven't told her yet?"

"No!! it was supposed to be a S u p r i s e. I already told you this!"

Davi snapped back at Maria.

"heh heh well we're staying at a beach house!"

João said awkwardly laughing while doing so.

"Wow so cool! im so excited to spend these 2 months with you all!!"

"Yep! can't wait to work on volleyball with you too"

Davi walked up to Joaos car and opened the trunk,

"here let's get on the road, first we need to put our suitcases in here"

so i listened and grabbed the handle of my bag,

"Let me get that for you, go get in the car while i put this bag away"

João offered, i thanked him and hopped in the car. Since the beach home isn't near it'll take about an hour to arrive there.

About 15 minutes into the drive we were all talking and laughing about random things. I started to get tired, and soon enough i drifted asleep.

"Hey shrimp wake up we're here!! don't worry i'll get your suitcase! go make yourself at home!"

I took a huge yawn and took a big deep stretch, i opened the door to see the sight of this amazing looking house, it was this light blue colour with birch wood, it had a gorgeous view of the ocean. This was my paradise, and to add onto that there was a nice and huge volleyball net on the nice warm sand. I took a huge breath and went inside the house,

"Nice huh?"

"it's not nice, it's gorgeous!"

I said excitedly to Davi, which of course made him laugh at me.

"Me and João are gonna fix up some lunch for all of us, go unpack, your room is upstairs to the left."

"okay!"

I went upstairs, and walked into my room. Holy hell the view from the window is dazzling! all my thoughts about karasuno had just left my body. I was at peace. I walked over to my suitcase and unpacked everything, i put up a few posters so i feel more comfortable. A few minutes passed,

"Hinata get your butt down here it's lunchtime!!"

"Okokok im on my way down!"

I yelled back at Davi, i heard everyone laughing at us bickering. I walked down the wooden stairs to the kitchen.

"We are going to go down to the beach in  an hour, we'll practice your volleyball so make sure to put on clothes that you can move well in, and put on sunscreen!!"

"alright!! i'm excited!"

I went on and ate my sandwich and fruit that Davi and João had made me. Once done i ran upstairs, i changed and applied sunscreen to my body so i wouldn't burn. I ran downstairs yelling,

"I'm ready!!! let's go let's go let's go!"

"woah slow down there! we're coming!"

i opened the back door running down to the beach, it was so peaceful, the sound of waves, birds, and a slight breeze from the wind, and of course Davi and João play fighting. Maria was yelling 'fight fight fight!' at them. I grabbed the volleyball and started bumping and setting it to myself till they were all done acting like little kids.

Woah, i'm so sorry, this is the shortest chapter yet! but i'm planning on building up some angst soon!!

Hope you all liked Maria and Joao this chapter, Both of them are very playful and really close friends with Davi which of course made them close with Hinata.
