Kageyamas POV
The rest of the bus ride to Tokyo i kept on thinking about Hinata.
Damn!! Why was i such a dickwad (inside joke with a friend heh heh) to her!! I continued to beat myself up on the topic, before i knew it we arrived to Nekomas school for a practice match. We were gonna eat supper there as well, the team managers were cooking the food for us while we do some matches, they were making meat!! At least something good happens today. We arrived later than usual which of course made kuroo mock us. I grabbed my bag and headed off the bus, I can see Kenma coming my way,
"Hey, um where's shoyō?"
He questioned me, i took a deep breath and replied with,
"long story."
Right after i replied i stormed off, i kept on blaming me, on why Hinata left. I could see the rest of Nekoma wondering where karasunos sunshine went. Daichi called the rest of the team to get changed and to stretch so we can begin the first game. Once we were all finished we went into the gym and started preparing ourselves for the match. I take a short glance over to the other side of the court to Nekoma giving us questioned looks and whispering. I look over to the bench to see Hattori with a grin plastered on her face. a very annoying one too. I heard the referee blow his whistle, so i went on the court and went into my position,
"Hey kageyama, you seem, distracted? i think it's best if you sit this match out, Sugawara will fill in for you."
Is what coach Ukai calmingly said to me, I annoyingly walked off the court and sat on the bench, Sugawara patted my back and walked onto the court. The referee blowed his whistle once again, Daichi and Kuroo flipped a coin to see who's serving first. It was heads, which meant Karasuno was starting the game off. Hattoris annoying friend was serving first, Saito picked up the volleyball and did a classic over hand serve. It successfully went over the net and was received by Yaku. The ball went up to Kenma and spiked by Lev, Nishinoya soon dived and hit it with his wrist. Sugawara ran to set the ball to Asahi, he spiked it with all his might and went right through Nekomas blockers hands. The cats soon picked up on how we now play without Hinata and they easily won. I over heard Kuroo saying
"It's no fun without chibi-chan."
And other complaints like that. Of course i got ticked off. I got back onto the court, i played a few games but karasuno won only 2 out of 5. It was time for supper so we all showered and got ready to eat.
Times skip to after eating!! :)
I made sure i had everything before we hit the road back to miyagi. I kept wondering what Hinata was up to, yet again kept blaming myself for her leaving.
