The ball zoomed, cutting through the air, as hinatas forceful serve sent the ball flying over the net.
Everyone watched in amazement, stunned from her serve. Their eyes sparkled, no words were spoken, it left everyone breathless.
"aw man, that wasn't at all good! sorry!"
The girl cried out, jogging over to the opposite side of the net retrieving her ball.
"good job, shoyo."
Kenma said with a little hint of excitement in his voice, breaking the silence.
"yeah!! good one chibi-chan!!"
"it blew me away! didn't expect that from someone that short!"
Levi mockingly said,
"baka!! i can way do better than you and you know it!"
"whateverrr"
"woah hinata! i couldn't even receive it!"
the whole team praised her, even the coaches. Soon enough it was receiving practice, Nekoma was pretty good at them, but it wasn't perfect just yet.
The coaches spiked the ball over the net, everyone was in their ready position, ready to dig the ball back up flying into the air. He first spiked it at kai, he succeeded on getting the ball in the air, landing just near the setters position. Another spike was aimed at Lev, yet again, successful, though it landed a little far from the setters position. Next, kenma, he digged the ball up to yaku, The short libero set it up for kuroo, the rooster ran up to the ball spiking it hard on the other side of the court. Continuing, kuroo, yaku, and the rest of the team had received the ball, most of them didn't fail. Finally it was Shoyos turn, she was anxious, wanting the ball to herself. The coach spiked it, the ginger stopped all momentum, driving the ball straight to kenma, a perfect receive.
"woah hinata! you could even be a libero! you'd totally out shine me!!"
"what! really!? you think so?"

After a couple more rounds of receiving, finally, hinatas specialty.
Spiking.
She's worked on building up her speed and strength just for this moment.
The perfect speed, the perfect jump, the perfect formation, the perfect hit, it all makes a perfect spike.
<this is where my writing goes downhill, my brain gave up>
Yaku threw the volleyball up high for kenma to set it, the setter set the ball up high for kuroo, the black haired middle blocker ran up, and spiked it flying across the court, repeating with lev, taketora, kai, so, and shohei. Finally, it was hinatas ball, she's been dying to show off her improvement ever since she's walked into the gym. Yaku tossed the ball high up for kenma, the boy set it up towards hinatas direction, the ginger took a few steps bracing her self, she then planted to feet, jumped, and spiked. The ball flew straight down to the opposing side of the court.
Yet again, she out shined everyone, they all continued to complement her, by the time they all knew it practice was over, they all walked back to the changing rooms, hinata undressed herself putting on some different clothes, a pair of ripped jeans and a grey loose t-shirt. She took out her ponytail, untangling all nots and quickly tying up a low ponytail. The girl hopped out the changed room meeting up with all the boys,
"Hey shoyo wanna get meet buns with us? it's a short walk"
Kenma questioned,
"of course!! i am pretty hungry anyways!"
All hinata, kenma, kuroo, yaku, and lev all went out.
The golden hour sun glistened on their soft skin, they all walked and laughed, having a carefree fun time, the pavement had a touch of white fluffy snow that shown bright in the sun,
soon enough they reached a convenience store, the four of them stepped into the store examining everything it had in store, luckily they had meat buns, so, they proceeded to buy them,
"hey! we'll order, hmm, 4 meat buns please!"
Hinata requested,
"will that be all for today?"
"yup!"
"okay your total is 17.76$"
The girl reached out for her wallet until kenma stopped her from doing so,
"here, i'll pay this time, don't worry"
"you sure, kenma?"
"yep."
The pudding-haired boy reached out for his wallet and gave the worker a 20 dollar bill,
"you can keep the change"
"alright here are your meat buns, thanks for coming!"
The group walked to a nearby park to eat up their after-practice-snack. It was getting colder outside so they wouldn't stay for long.
"how'd you improve so much, hinata!?"
Lev questioned,
"oh, heh, well lots of practice, that's for sure!"
"i figured, but how? who'd you practice with?"
"Oh, maria and joão taught and helped me! they're friends of mine from brazil!"
"ohhh! aren't they on the brazil volleyball team!! so cool!"
"yep! i got taught from the best!"
