The ginger wore a shocked expression plastered over her face, a fade of blush appeared all over her cheeks, the words 'i think i like you' played on repeat in her mind,
Though the girl had been in denial about her feelings towards kenma, she's pushed them away, she never thought kenma would like her back, not one bit.
Her heart skipped a beat when he confessed, Hinata didn't know how to respond, she started anxiously fiddling with her fingers, the boy noticed and felt a hint of guilt wash over him,
"h-hey, it's fine you don't need to answer today!"
"N-no! kenma, i actually think i like you too!"
"you do?"
"yes!"
The girl pleaded, her heart beating rapidly, she took one of kenmas hands and held it tightly, hesitantly thinking of what she was gonna say next,
"please don't be mad, but i don't think i'm ready for a boyfriend yet!! can we just stick to going on dates for now..."
Hinata looked down in shame, thinking that kenma would be frustrated at her,
"yea, i think that's best for now actually.. we don't want to rush things"
Shoyo felt relieved, thankful that kenma wasn't mad,
"want me to walk you home?"
Kenma offered,
"it's alright! i don't want to be a burden.. plus your house is the opposite direction then mine so in the end it would be pointless"
"hm okay, you sure?"
"yeah!"
Both of the young teenagers had payed and left the shop, each of them saying their goodbyes and promises to text each other,
"don't forget! text me when you get home, shoyo!"
He waved goodbye, heading off around the corner, no longer to be seen.

The ginger walked along the sidewalk, all peaceful, cars drove by, the sounds of birds chirping filled the cold-winter day, all sudden stress had left, life was almost perfect, she wished this could stay like this forever, until she found herself reaching the apartment blocks. The girl headed over to the front door to the apartment opening it. Just like usual, go up the stairs a few floors then reach her and Davis little house. Shoyo picked out the correct key, then opening the door afterwards.
"Hey Davi, i'm home!"
