Thunk, thunk, thunk. 

You tossed in your bed. 

Thunk, thunk, thunk.

You placed one of your pillows over your head. 

Thunk, thunk, thunk. 

Maybe it was just the rain? Whatever, you didn't care, you just wished it would STOP. You felt yourself drift off, as you ignored the clunking, only for your phone to start buzzing off the hook on your bedside table, vibrating so harshly it almost fell off. 

You groaned and rolled onto your side, picking up your device, checking the caller ID. 

Josuke Higashikata, it read. Oh brother, here we go. You hesitantly hit the 'accept' button and held it to your ear. "Oi, what do you want, blockhead?." 

"We're outside!." He yelled from the other side of the phone. You heard Okuyasu giggle quietly. "Ugh. Why." 

"We're gonna go TP Kishibe's house!." Nijimura butted in. "Should you guys REALLY be doing that?." 

"Yes!," They both retorted. "And we want you to come with!." 

"Literally, no, I have school in the morning-."

"So do we!." Josuke whined. 

"We all know fully well you two are NOT going to show up."

"Blah blah blah," You could physically feel Okuyasu roll his eyes. "Shut up and get down here."

"You guys suck."

"Is that a yesss?." Josuke gleamed. 

"I'll be down in a second."

"YES!-." 

Before they could say anything, you hung up. You rubbed your temples viciously, as you sat up straight and prepped yourself for the hijinks you were about to get yourself involved in. Why did you always say yes? 

You mentally yelled at yourself the whole time, as you were getting ready. You went ahead and dressed in your uniform, as you assumed you'd be going straight to school after everything was said and done. You slipped on a thick overcoat to keep you warm, and slipped on your sneakers.

Now, this wasn't your first rodeo; you had done this many times before, so you weren't mindless enough to just...try and walk out the door. No. You'd just scale the roof, simple. You approached your window and peered down. There stood the two delinquent boys. You gave a vexed wave to them and they flung their arms around like they were lost at sea. 

Morons. 

You unclasped the window locks and lifted the window, and then jingled the screen loose. You sat it propped against the wall and then, climbed from the window onto the parapet. 

"Be careful!." Okuyasu warned. You wrinkled your nose at him. "Duh." 

"Yeah, duh!." Josuke repeated, slapping the back of Okuyasu's shoulder. "Can you guys like, shut the fuck up? You're going to wake my parents up." 

They both did a mocking hand motion in unison. Sometimes, they really made you want to strangle them. Nevermind that. 

You grabbed ahold of the parapet and slowly hoisted yourself down, and then let go. You landed onto your feet, and you brushed your shoulder in confidence.
