Chapter 13

~joshs pov~
I woke up pretty early the next morning because I had a plan. Nicole really needs me right now but I can't be there with her. Or so she thinks..

I packed a bag of clothes. Not a lot. Enough for a week I guess. Last night when Nicole fell asleep on FaceTime I ordered a plane ticket back home to Tennessee because when I looked into her eyes on FaceTime, I could tell she was hurting.

The flight home isn't too long. It's about 4 hours long. It's still a long time but it's definitely worth it to see her. The boys know I'm going too. They wanted me to go actually.

No, not in a rude way. They just know that I should be there right now. I'm pretty sure jaden was coming too because he wanted to see Charli.. even though we have an idea.

I got changed into some comfortable clothes for the flight and went downstairs about to leave. Jaden came down and said "ok let's go we are gonna be late." I nodded and we both left the house and went to the airport.

*after the flight*
When the plane landed me and jaden got our bags and took and Uber to Nicole's house. I decided I should text tayler or Bryce and let them know we are coming. Well, that I'm coming. Jaden is going over to charlis.

Tayler
Josh: hey tayler
Tayler: what's up?
Josh: I'm in town with jaden, is it ok if I come over?
Tayler: yeah sure. Niks asleep rn tho.
Josh: thanks
Tayler: no prob. And you don't have to ask. Me and Bryce trust you with her.
Josh: thanks 🙂

When the Uber got to Nicole's house I got out with my bag and went inside of the house. Bryce and Tayler were hanging out on the couch when I walked in. They seemed happy to see me.

"Josh wassup man!" Bryce said a little loudly. Tayler looked at Bryce and whisper yelled "shut up! She doesn't know he's here." Bryce just nodded and sat back down on the couch.

I went up to Nicole's room to see her. She was curled up in a ball wrapped in her blanket. She didn't look well, I feel terrible that she's going through this.

I went over to her and laid next to her in the bed and put my arm around her. Pretty quickly she cuddled right into me. Adorable.

~Nicole's pov~

When I woke up in the morning I was cuddled into someone. It scared me at first because I was thinking maybe Jackson or someone broke in. I quickly lifted my head up to see who it was and I was shocked.

"Good morning my princess." Josh said as he planted a kiss on my forehead. I smiled really big and said "w-what are you..?" He smiled and said "you needed some company and I missed you."

I smiled and put my head back on his chest. I still wasn't feeling well and my head was hurting a lot. "You didn't have to joshy.." I said while looking up at him.

"Yes I did princess. You know how hard it is to be away from you? Especially when Jackson does something to you?" He said while he wiped my hair off my face. "Well please tell me you didn't go there first and beat him up.." Josh laughed a little and said "nope." I smiled then said "what about jaden. Because I know the others wouldn't." Josh laughed again and said "you'll see."

I didn't like how that sounded.

"Cmon get dressed, we are going to charlis." Josh said as he lifeted me up off of my bed. I giggled and said "ok ok! Put me down." He smiled and set me down and I went to my bathroom and changed for today and put my hair in a messy bun.
