Chapter 66

After a few days just hanging out in the hospital with the twins, they finally let us go home. Everyone was excited for that, I was just nervous. This whole parenting thing scares me.. what if I can't take care of them the best I can.. then what.

"Ready princess?" Josh asked while I sat down in the wheelchair to be wheeled out. I nodded my head yes and josh wheeled me out. I had both of the twins in my arms so it's easier to get out of here.

We got to the car and I sat in the back seat in the middle so I can easily get to each baby. Josh sat i. The drivers seat and looked back at me, then smiled. This is the happiest I've seen josh. He loves the whole family thing, but I can tell he's a bit scared too. He doesn't want to end up like mine or his dad, which I get.

Once we got home, the twins were still sound asleep. Theyre pretty good car babies if I do say so myself. Charli and jaden came running out of the house to help us.. of take a kid, I dont really know.

"So, how was the car ride?" Jaden asked while picking up Maggie. "Good actually.  So far we got blessed with angel kids." I said while laughing. Jaden and Charli laughed and brought Maggie inside while josh lifted up Finn, carrying him in. I brought in the baby bag since it wasn't heavy at all.

everyone was hanging out on the couches in the living room, playing with the twins. Maggie looked a little confused while Finn was just chilling there. They both have joshs bright ocean blue eyes, my nose. I don't really like my nose.. but they both look adorable.

"Ok so who's gonna tell Nik?" Anthony said with a smile. I looked at him confused. "Tell me what. What did you guys do now?!" I said starting to worry. They all laughed and griff said "dang she doesn't even remember and we do?"

I looked at them all and said "just tell me." Jaden laughed and said "well miss Nicole, in a week or two, your allowed to do physical activity again meaning-.."

"FOOTBALL!" I cut jaden off. I quickly got quite because i forgot about the twins. They didn't seem too fazed by it though.

"Yes Nik, you can play football soon. But hey, you haven't played in a year. You might not be too dog anymore." Anthony said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and said "oh and you will be too dog? Your king of center bench mister."

Anthony laughed and so did everyone else. Soon after, our front door opened and my brothers came in with Baxter. Baxter noticed the two babies and gently laid near them. Maggie had a little smile on when she saw Baxter.. but Finn looked scared. Probably because compared to him, Baxter was huge.

"It's ok finn, Baxter's a good boy." I said in a baby voice. Josh giggled and sat me down on his lap. His arms went around my waist and his head on my shoulder.

Everyone watched how gentle Baxter was being with the twins and honestly, it was the cutest thing ever. He licked Maggie's leg and she looked at him.  Finn still seemed a little frightened but he will get used to him.

After a while of everyone hanging out in the living room, Josh and I am decided to bring the twins to their nursery so they can sleep. The room was adorable. The baby blue walls and matching furniture were adorable. Honestly, every single thing in here is adorable.

Josh set the twins in their cribs, then came to me. He wrapped his arms around me and we just stood there in a nice long hug.

"Let's get married." Josh said softly.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Look, I know your the person I want to be with for the rest of my life.. I also know you aren't interested in a big fancy wedding. You like to keep it low key. We can just go to whatever that place is called and get married. It doesn't have to be a big deal." Josh said while looking into my eyes.

I smiled and said "well Joshua, I would love to marry you. Let's do it."

Joshs smile grew big and he slowly leaned in and gave me a kiss. This was my dream. I found my person, we created a family, and I have amazing friends with me along the way. Honestly, if it wasn't for Charli and Dixie being by my side since day one.. I don't think I would've lived to see this day. If one of them ever stepped out of my life I would lose it and do stupid things to hurt myself. I can't even imagine.

"Whatcha thinking about princess?" Josh asked while putting his forehead against mine.

"Just how amazing my life has become. I mean, just a year or two ago, I was really suicidal and depressed. Now I met you guys and im living my best life out here in la." I said while looking down.

Josh our a finger under my chin, lifting it up, and said "listen to me, I am so happy that your here with us, and now the twins. You are so strong for going through all of that alone, although you had your brothers and Charli. You are one of the strongest people I know and nothing could change that. Now can we please cuddle."

I giggled and said "of course we can joshy." He smiled and we went to our room, laid in bed, and just cuddled for the remainder of the day.

A/n:
Ok this chapters pretty boring but I might end this book soon, then start another or do another sequel. If I do start another, a sequel for this will still come out (maybe) but I have a good idea for another book.
