Chapter 69

When we got home, josh cane with me to our room and said "I got you something for your birthday princess." I smiled at him and said "Josh.. no, you don't have to do all of this and get me a present."

He laughed. "Well, I wanted to, you deserve it. And.. I think you'll like this one."

I smiled and said "if you say so.. now I have to get ready." Josh giggled and I grabbed a cute outfit to wear, then went into the bathroom to shower.

Before I could shut the door, Josh stopped it and said "hey, no invite?" I giggled and said "no sir. Maybe next time."

Josh laughed and let me shut the door. I turned on the water in the shower and made a tiktok while I waited for it to heat up.

After my shower was all finished, I dried off and put on my outfit. I felt pretty confident wearing it actually.. it was strange. I put my curling gel in my hair to make my curls pop a little bit more too.

Once I finished, I stepped out of the bathroom and josh immediately smiled. "Damn Princess." He said while pulling me Close to him. I smiled and slowly
gave him a kiss.

We stood there for a couple of seconds, then josh said "alright, let's get goin. Everyone else took the kids to your brothers so they can all hangout." I nodded and followed josh out of The house to his car.

On our way to the restaurant, Josh and I listened to a lot of music. The song "electric love" came on and I started to sing. I love this song

Once that song finished, we had arrived at the restaurant so josh larked the car, and we went in.

This place was beautiful. It wasn't too fancy, but you would definitely stick out if you were wearing a tshirt and sweatpants. Every girl had some sort of dress on, the boys had like polo shirts and khakis.

A waitress came and took our order pretty quickly. I ordered some pasta dish and josh got a steak.

"So, now that gift I got you.." Josh started to say. I smiled and said "joshy.." he laughed and said "Princess it isn't that big of a deal. I made it the other day and it only took me like 20 minutes."

I smiled and started to eat my food since they had just brought it out. Josh snapped a picture of me behind my plate and posted it on snapchat saying "big news coming soon.. 👀"

Once we were all done, Josh was going to lay the bill when he noticed I was taking money out of my purse to pay.

"Nik, I'm paying." He said while smiling.

"Josh it's expensive.." I said trying to give him the money. Before I knew it he handed the waitress the check then stood up. I laughed and took his hand as we walked out.

When we got to the car, Josh reaches into the back seats and grabbed a bag, handing it to me. "Happy birthday princess." I smiled and I opened it to see one of those glass album covers with a picture of me and josh.

I smiled at it and am said "joshy! I love it!" He smiled and said "good, it took way too long for you not to love." I giggled and josh started the car so we could drive home.

Once we got home, I ran to my room real quick and changed into a more comfortable outfit. It felt nice to be back in sweatpants and a tshirt although I did feel fabulous in a dress.

When I walked back into the kitchen, everyone was there with a birthday cake for me. The twins giggled when they saw me and said "mommy's here!"

I laughed and said "you guys.. you didn't have to do all of this." Charli laughed at me and said "Nicole, you deserve this. After all that you've been through, a little celebration is nice."

I smiled and gave Charli a hug, then all of the cameras came to my direction as they started to sing. Josh stood behind hugging me while I waited to blow out the candles.

Once they finished, I giggled and blew them out. Everyone cheered and we started cutting the cake.

I sat down in the counter with my piece and ate it. The cake was really good, your classic ice cream cake with fudge.

After everyone finished cake, I was super tired. I think everyone noticed because it's been a long day. I got up and went to the bedroom and laid down. Josh brought the twins to their room for me, then came to bed too.

Once josh laid down, I cuddled up into him. His hand gently stroked my back as he slowly gave me a kiss. I smiled and said "you know how much I love you?"

Josh smiled. "Well you might have to show me, I'm not too sure." I raised an eyebrow and said "Joshua Richards! There are other people here and the twins are right across the hall." He giggled and said "ok ok, another night then." I smiled then slowly drifted off to sleep.
