Chapter 6

Me and josh had slept through the whole day. I haven't gotten a lot of sleep lately and the way jaden made it sound, Josh didn't either. I woke up at around 9ish and saw josh still fast asleep. I gently kissed his forehead and slipped out of the bed. I went to the kitchen and made myself a cup of coffee because I was still tired but wasn't in the mood to sleep. Strange.

"Good morning Louise." I heard Charli say as she cane around the corner with jaden. I laughed a little and said "morning.." jaden looked at me and said "you and josh have been sleeping since the game ended yesterday. I hear you didn't sleep a lot at school?" I laughed a little and looked at Charli. She looked away and said "what! I tell him everything." I laughed and said "it's fine. And yeah, I really haven't slept since school started." Jaden said "well if it makes you feel better, neither has josh. Or any of us actually." I smiled a little and took a sip of my coffee.

"Good morning everyone.. what time is it exactly?" I heard Anthony and griffin say as they cane into the kitchen. "Dang you three love waking up early huh. Its like 9:30." Griffin laughed and said "well you just like to sleep. This isn't too early anyways. Maybe for you though." We all laughed and Anthony said "so, how are we gonna wake josh up today?" I looked at him confused. What the heck does he mean.

"What?" I asked, still confused. Jaden replies by saying "every morning whoever the last one to wake up gets woke up by one of us." I laughed a little and said "you jerks. I want in." The boys laughed and I said "ok, you guys have any horns or something?" Griffin smirked and said "I have an air horn." I smiled and said "ok good, go get it." He laughed and got the horn then handed it to me.

I took it and snuck into joshs room and went back next to him like nothing was happening. Everyone else was at the door watching holding in the laughter. I raised the arm that I was holding the horn in and blew it loudly.

Josh jumped up and saw everyone laughing n and said "oh come on. I thought for sure Nik would be the last one up." We all laughed and I said "nope not today mister. So, what are we doing today?"  Charli smiled and everyone knew exactly what she was going to say. "Let's go to the mall!" I gave her a look. I don't want to go shopping, it's just more I have to carry on the way back. "really char. How about the beach?" Everyone agreed to that so we all got changed.

I put on a hoodie I took from josh over my bikini and we all left. I sat on joshs lap in the back with griff and Anthony while jaden and Charli were in the front. Josh was holding one of my hands while we drove there. I really missed him, even though I was mad.

When we got to the beach we all raced to the sand and set out stuff down. I took off the hoodie I was wearing and ran towards the water, everyone else following close behind me. I swam around in the water with everyone else fooling around.

After a while of being in the water I got cold so I got out of the water and laid on my towel by everyone's stuff. Josh came with me and sat next to me. "So, wanna come with me to my moms? She's not too far from here and she wants to meet you." I smiled a little bit and said "ok sure, let's go before I fall asleep." We both laughed and I put on my hoodie while josh told everyone we were leaving.

When he came back he took my hand and we walked off. I was a little nervous because of how his dad hated me but usually moms are the nicer ones.. right? Atleast in my case they are.

We were walking for a bout ten minutes when finally we stopped in front of a pretty nice house. Josh smiled at me and said "ok we're here." I smiled and we walked towards the front door. My hand was shaking a little so josh looked me in the eyes and said "she's nice, I promise." I slightly nodded and saw the door open.

Olivia was standing there and she smiled once she saw me. She gave me a hug and said "thank god your here she has been dying to meet you." I giggled a little bit and followed josh and olivia inside. We sat on the couch and talked when I heard someone coming. This must be his mom. "Hey joshy your here! Oh and is this Nicole?" I smiled at her and said "the one and only. It's nice to finally meet you." I got up and she gave me a hug while saying "your all josh has talked about since he came here. I also heard how his dad treated you and I'm so sorry about that." I smiled a little and said "it's ok, I was used to it. Family problems." She just nodded trying to avoid the topic. I'd rather not talk about that anyways.

"So, tell me about yourself Nicole." Joshs mom said, trying to change the subject. "Well, I'm the first girl to be on the football team at country high. I was in a toxic relationship for a while, and now I have a scholarship at penn." Joshs mom smiled and said "that's awesome. I hear that's how you two met."

I nodded and said "yeah. Well technically it was from being added to a group chat because of a wrong number.. but yeah, we officially met through football." We all talked for a while and I got to know joshs mom more. She is a really nice lady. I can see where josh gets his manners from because it clearly wasn't his dad.

We were there for a while, almost the whole day actually. Just hanging out. Josh looked at the time and noticed it was getting late and then saw how tired I was so he said "ok we are gonna go. She has to leave tomorrow so I'm gonna bring her home to sleep. Joshs mom said ok and we left.

Josh ended up carrying me back to the house because we didn't have a car, and it was late and everyone else was probably asleep. Who am I kidding.. they're all up al night all the time. When we got back to the house josh carried me up to his room and set me down on the bed trying his best not to wake me because he knew I haven't slept a lot lately.

He laid down next to me and held me in his arms and fell asleep shorty after.

A/N: sorry this chapter was pretty bad! I was working on it at different times of the day because I was busy so this chapter is just a mess.
