     "(Y/N)." Dr. Cuddy called.

The (Y/H/C) haired woman poked her head into the office. "Yes ma'am?"

The doctor held out a file to her. "Go give this to House for me."

(Y/N) frowned at the file, even as she took it. "Do you really think sending me to give him the file will make him any more willing to look at it?" She demanded.

Cuddy laced her fingers together and placed her head on top of them. "We can certainly try." She smiled.

(Y/N) pulled an umbrella from the rack by the door of the office. "I'll certainly make it interesting for him." She agreed, waving the umbrella around.

"That's why I hired you." Cuddy replied.

(Y/N) slipped out of the office and towards the elevator, her heels clicking on the floor as she went.

Only a week as Cuddy's new assistant and the work was never dull. (Y/N) exited on the proper floor and waited patiently for the familiar sound of a cane hitting the floor.

She peeked behind the pillar she hid behind, ensuring the person was indeed her target and not some poor patient.

(Y/N) stuck her umbrella out and sent the man sprawling on the floor.

A stream of curses exited his mouth as he struggled upright, turning to yell at whoever had been so stupid to cause him to trip. He paused when he saw who had tripped him.

"On guard." (Y/N) challenged raising the umbrella, playfully.

House raised his cane, "Bring it on." He replied, in a rare grin.

(Y/N) lunged at him and he parried the attack.

The sounds of wood striking wood filled the hospital halls.

Hearing the commotion Cameron, Chase, and Foreman all raced out of the office only to be pushed back against the wall as the dueling pair passed by.

"Who the hell is that?" Cameron demanded.

"That's Cuddy's new assistant." Wilson replied, appearing behind them, "And House's daughter."

"House has a daughter?" Foreman wondered aloud.

     "A hot one." Chase mumbled.

"I heard that!" House shouted, irritably.

(Y/N) took the chance to push herself into a better position, ontop of a waiting bench. "I have the high ground."

"And you're still being foolish!" House snapped back, whacking her leg with his cane.

(Y/N) collapsed ontop of the bench as pain flared throughout her leg.

"I win." House announced, staring down at his daughter with a smug look.

"It was a draw." (Y/N) argued, tapping his side with her umbrella.

House offered his hand to help her up and she happily took it. "What are you doing here?" He demanded gruffly.

"I'm Cuddy's new assistant." (Y/N) stated proudly. "And this," she grabbed the case file from where she had safely put it on the receptionist's desk, "is yours."

House frowned at the offending case file, much the same as (Y/N) had done earlier in Cuddy's office. "So Cuddy thinks that she can send my daughter to give me a case and I'll just look at it." He snapped.

(Y/N) simply raised her eyebrow and smiled in success when he took it and began to limp away.

"Go get me a coffee!" He shouted at her.

"I'm not your assistant!" (Y/N) shouted back, turning towards the elevators. "Hi Dr. Wilson!" She said smiling brightly at her godfather and long time family friend. She waved goodbye to Cameron, Foreman, and Chase before stepping into the elevators, sending Chase a wink before the doors closed.
