Claude's POV

Two months from now magiging hari na ako ng buong Aerus. Nakaka-excite man isipin pero sobrang kinakabahan na ako.

Here in bed, I am thinking for my first proclamation. Yung kakaiba yung gusto ko para hindi na maging katulad kay dad. Medyo mahirap para sakin dahil na rin ay nineteen palang ako.

Noong unang sabi palang sakin ni dad, I was really shocked. I was happy but nervous.

I suddenly thought of the people I will be leading. Now that everyone knows na ako ang susunod sa yapak ni dad they were happy.

Something came up my mind. The people in Grunge.

"Is our son excited to be the best king in the world?" napatayo agad ako sa pagkakahiga, bumungad sakin ang mama at papa ko.

I scoffed.

"Hindi naman ho" I stand up to face them.

"Well, may naisip ka na bang proclamation?" Si Mom.

"I think it will be great son" si dad.

I got nervous about it pero kailangan.

"Umm yeah, I will give the people of Grunge a chance to be here in Aerus" as I expected they'll be in shock.

Grunge is a place where witches and evil charmers lives. Minsan na rin nilang sinugod at tangkang pamunuan ng kasamaan ang lugar ng Aerus. Pero dahil sa Head Mistress Goddess ng Aerus napigilan ito.

After that incident napagkasunduan ng buong Aerus na maglagay ng Charm Shield palibot sa Aerus. At lakas loob na lagyan ng enchanted Barrier ang palibot ng Grunge para walang evil witchcraft ang umabot sa Aerus.

The Enchanted Barrier creates a force to ban the magic of Grunge, it means. No magic, no network just nothing. The only thing that can break the spell of the barrier is the head mistress goodness's gem.

"Are you serious Claude?! The people there are not what you think they are! They almost got Aerus into a serious problem!" si dad.

"Claude son, what's this? We could be in danger" mom said with her usual calming voice.

I took a deep breath before speaking.

"Yes I know what Grunge people are capable of, I am aware of that" sabi ko at tiningnan sila mata sa mata.

"But its time na bigyan natin sila ng chance para magbago, and I've chosen only four" sabi ko.

This is a hard decision, but ito na yung panahon na baguhin ang dating kultura at palitan ng bago.

"Are you sure?" Si dad eyeing me intently.

"Yes dad and mom, I am" I said will all the courage inside me.

"But about the four, who would it be?" Mom asked.

"Elkie, daughter of Elliot"

"Lucy, daughter of Luciana"

"Quinn, daughter of Kwenzie"

"Reign, daughter of Reinica"

There I said it.

"Wait what? Are you out of your mind?! Those are the daughters of the Verunge! They are the ones who leaded the attacking here in Aerus!" Said by my dad frustrated.

"I know, but if you trust me on this, I will do my best to make them good. Their parents was the one who did all those evilness, not the kids. The kids are different, they can choose whatever they wanna be" I explained.

Sana naman maintindihan nila ako sa plano kong to. I look at them, mukha man akong matatag sa paningin nila maging ako ay kinakabahan sa desisyon ko.

"Tama naman sya hon, malay ba natin, let's just support our son with his decisions okay?" Wala namang nagawa si papa sa malambing na boses ni mama.

Napa-oo nalang si papa. I mouthed the word 'thank you' to my mom as they left me in my room.
