Promise

ELLIE P.O.V

I kept glancing toward amy cause since we left she didn't say a world and the only sound you hear is the soft music playing in the car. Amy has a faraway look and her hands are holding the wheel with so much force that her knuckles turned white and she didn't feel anything. I touched her hand and that seemed to bring her back to reality she turned to me and smiled her smile didn't reach her eyes not pushing her i returned her smile.
A few minutes later we arrived to Amy's place, i was confused as to why she brought us to her house, she seemed to see my confusion and said " tonight you'll be sleeping with me cause lili's parents are out of town and i want to make sure she's okay. And you we need to talk about what happened back their plus i could use help with lili." she didn't wait for my replie, she got out carried lili bridal style and entered the houe. I followed silently and watched her take care of lili.

AMY P.O.V

I knew ellie wanted to talk by the intense way she was looking at me. The drugs must be wearing of because lili started to stir in my arms, i layed her on my bed grabed a pair w pyjamas handed one to ellie "thanks"
"welcome" and i helped lili change and washed her face with a wet towel and examined her for any injuries. Thank god she's fine and i got in time to help her when i finished i turned and was met with smiling ellie, she looked beautiful despite everything that happened tonight she's smiling and her smile is intoxicating caused me to smile back. I turned and walked to the restroom to change and wash my face. when I finished, i entered my room and ellie was laying beside lili and gestured me to join. I climbed the bed and positioned myself between them lili on my right and ellie on my left. Lili layed her head on my chest and sighted while on the other hand ellie put her head in the crook of my neck and also sighted. I put my arms around them protectively and we stayed silent a few minutes, no one dared to speak until i heard ellie saying
"so about what happened today are you okay?"

"yeah don't worry about it, I'm just worrying about lili and hope she doesn't know anything about what happened."

"but we can report him and make him pay for it."

I said while stroking their heads:"no ellie we can't because first his the famous captain of the football team, second his scholarship will be revoked, his parents will fight us and they have more resources than we do and last kate will hate me for it and i don't want that. In case something happened, i need you to promise me that only we know the truth no matter what happens. I have a feeling that nothing will ever be the same again."

"I...." she sighted "okay i promise i won't tell anything."

"now close your eyes and get some sleep. Goodnight ell." i kissed her forhead. I felt her breath slow down and knew she's asleep.
I watched them sleep soundly until suddenly i heard lili whimper and i felt tears on my chest.
"hey, hey lili, shhhh shhhhhh you're okay sweetheart. I'm here don't worry. I'm here" I whispered while stroking her hair, it seems to work out because she calmed down.
"a..amy..? ."
"yes sweetheart? What is it you can tell me" "i...I'm... I'm sorry, i shouldn't have drank too much, I don't remember anything about tonight what happened?"
"Don't worry sweetie, everything is fine and you're safe here with me. Nowgo back to sleep it's 3 a.m and tomorrow is the weekend we'll spend it watching movie and eating ice-cream your favorites."
"really?"
"yes really now sleep sweetheart, sleep" i kept stroking her hair and her breath slowed down and she was asleep. A few seconds later i felt my eyes became heavy and i was consumed by sleep.
