New Day

AMY P.O.V

I woke up and turned my head to see the time and it was 8 am and they were still sleeping. I detached my self from them and got up to make breakfast for everyone. I made bacon eggs pancakes and black coffee for ellie, cream coffee for Lili and a cup of tea for me.
Suddenly i heard scream, i put everything in place and ran toward my bedroom. I saw ellie kneeling beside a crying and screaming Lili, she couldn't touch her she would flinch at contact. Ellie started to cry at the sight of her best friend, i walked slowly
"hey sweetheart, heyy I'm here you're safe with me" i said above a whisper to not scare her and it worked cause she watched me still whimpering and I was still walking slowly.
Once I reached her she threw herself at me and cried silently while I stroke her head gently and whispered smoothing things in her ear. A couple minutes later she calmed down but still hugged me and was afraid of letting go.
"lily sweetheart it's okay, you can let go now."

"n...noo I I don't want to" she was on verge of crying again i quickly added " okay okay don't let go, it's fine l have to carry you downstairs so you can eat your favorite breakfast" i said smiling down at her.

"really!? Bacon and eggs and my favorite coffee?"
She sniffed

I giggled at her cuteness "yes sweetheart, both of your favorite breakfast are ready downstairs."

At hearing this Ellie was suddenly in front of us drooling "really pancakes and my black coffee and my favorite syrup made by you !!!?"

We both laughed at Ellie and i nodded my head she was the first to sprint towards the kitchen. I got up and swept lily of her foots she squealed and laughed after that i kissed her head and she rested her head in the crook of my neck.

" thank you for everything Amy, i love you "she whispered

"I'll always be there for you and I love you too sweetheart."

I gently sat her in her place and kissed her cheek and sat down in my place. We ate in silence and watched them eat eagerly their favorite food with a smile on my face.

I saw ellie's nose has syrup on it and lili has cream on her lips at that i laughed so hard my stomach hurts. They looked at me like I'm crazy and i gestured toward both of their faces at that they turned bright red from embarrassment.
Suddenly i felt something hit my face i looked and saw them smiling wickedly at me and I knew I made a mistake. I smiled and grabbed both of them and pulled them to me before they have the chance to throw food at me, i started tickling them and we laughed so hard and collapsed on the floor in the same position we were in bed.

We hugged each other so tight and were afraid to let go.
"come on let's continue eating then we'll grab a drink, a blanket and we'll put on a movie"

"Umm... Amy" lili said whispering

"yes sweetheart, what is it? Don't you want to watch your favorite movies ?"

"no no umm can i.... can i just hug you during the movie?" she asked shyly.

I laughed a little and she hid her head in my chest while tightening her hold on me

"of course sweetheart you can hug me anytime you want and I'll do anything to make you feel better. I'm here for you and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." i kissed her head and got up and helped both of them up.

We finished eating, we cleaned up everything and it was almost noon. I grabbed the ice-cream, lili was picked the movie and ellie grabbed the blanket. We sat on the couch and the movie started it was a horror movie and to add to the effect all the light was turned off, when the victim screamed both of the girls screamed and held tight while burying their head in the crook of my neck.
I laughed at them and asked "tell me again why is a horror movie to both of you is your favorite??"
Ellie mumbled " to my defense it's because we can hug you and you can always tell us the story later in a less scary way"
I felt something wet run down my neck and instantly realized that lili was crying i gesture to ellie to stop the movie which she did without question asked she got up to grab water and i turned to lili fully making her sit in my lap. I rubbed her back and asked her gently
"what happened sweetheart tell me, is it the movie or something else?"
"Amy... I... I remember" at that she sobbed uncontrollably and I hugged her hard and whispered comforting word to her
"it's okay, you're okay nothing happened i promise, i didn't let anyone touch you and wont ever let that happen to you. You're safe with me and I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner where you were."
"No!. No it's okay, it's not your fault, you saved me. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and for always supporting me." I rubbed her back and whispered smoothing words to her.

"Feeling better sweetheart?!" i whisper lightly kissing her neck.

She sighted against me and said "yess thank you so much, i love you"

"i love you too sweetheart." i felt her relax and sleep, i carried her to bed. I changed her clothes and left her to sleep soundly in my bed hugging my pillow tightly against her.

I turned and saw ellie in the doorway smiling lightly she seemed exhausted, i gestured her to come.
I hugged her tightly and she returned the hug, "Are you okay!?"
"yes babe thank you for asking" i smiled and kissed her cheek, she blushed. i guided her to bed and layed her beside lili, she hugged her and fell asleep. I left them, changed my clothes and cleaned up the house when suddenly my doorbell rang.
