Surprise

It's been a month and a half that i haven't seen amy or heard of her plus neither ellie or lili had spoken to me since that party. could it really be that jake is a liar and Amy was his victim? On the other hand i always knew she had feelings for me but didn't act on them, yes we flirted with one another but that's all.
Since the party jake has been somewhat of a jerk, he spend more time with his football team then with me and when we are at a party he disappear in the middle of it. I decided to search for him so we can dance together, i got to a part of the house almost abandoned and heard a muffled scream i ran toward the voice to check on it and what i saw was unbelievable i stood their paralyzed to even move a muscle.
I saw jake trying to rape a girl, her scream brought me back to reality he was on verge of entering her when i grabbed the bottle of beer and smashed it on his head he fell unconscious to the floor. The girl was crying and couldn't move after the shocking event that happened, i ran toward her and gently pulled her up and helped her dress up. She leaned on me all the way to the car, i opened the passenger door and helped her in and buckled her seat belt. I turned around and got into the driver seat. I turned toward the girl and saw her still crying i opened my arms to hug her and she fell into my arms holding me for dear life, i rubbed her back and waited her to calm down. Once she did i asked her " what's your name?"
"my name is lea.. Lea Johnson." her voice hoarse from crying.
I smiled gently at her " okay lea would like me to drive you home?"
She shook her head " no i can't see my parents now, i can't explain yet." she was on verge of crying again so i turned on the car and started driving the place that always sheer me up.
"umm not to be rude but where are we going?" she asked intrigued
I smirked at her and said " i can't say or it won't be a surprise would it now?"
"your aren't kidnapping me and ripping me to pieces are you?" she asked a little scared
I laughed at her imagination and said "no don't worry i won't kidnap you or rip you to pieces........" she relaxed a little
"at least... Not yet" her eyes widened and i laughed so hard that i had to stop at the side of the road to calm down, she started hitting my side and i laughed again.
I couldn't take it anymore "stop stop please i... I can't.. Breath anymore" i grabbed her hand in mine and pulled her toward me at this point we were both laughing so hard once we calmed down i realized that she was on top of me and we were staring into each other eyes.
Her eyes are truly magnificent their baby blue like the ocean, the longer i stare at ger eyes the faster i am starting to feel something different then when i was with Jake, something warm and calm like i don't want to let go. I offered her a smile and she smiled back  "how about i take you to your surprise now?" i asked while tucking her hair behind her ear, if not from the dark i could swear i saw a hint of blush creeping her cheeks. She nodded and sat in her place, se arrived at the lake it has an amazing view how the moon reflect on the water and the breeze of air is so comforting. We layed down on the grass and stared at the sky.
" tell me about your self lea"
"well it seems that i know you kate but you don't know me at all." she said with an amused smile.
" what do you know about me miss Johnson?" i asked with a raised eyebrow.
"well i know that you are the cheerleading captain, you are best friends with ellie the school president and Lili the captain of the science team and you were friend with our famous basketball team captain before she left. And Your boyfriend is the one i escaped from tonight. " she said the last part so lowly that I almost didn't hear her.
I turned toward her and said" i promise i didn't know what he was up to, someone close tried to tell me about him but I didn't listen instead i hurt the person who loved me for me and stayed with a jerk. "
" its okay you didn't know, you believed him because you trusted him and didn't want to believe that he became that type of person. I am not mad at you but I am certainly mad at him and will sue him on behalf of everyone. " she said determined
" i promise I'll be there for you every step of the way, it's time i make up for my mistakes. "
She smiled at me and moved closer her head on my chest and her arms around my waist, my arms wrapped around her and I held her close. Half an hour later i realized her breathing regulated and she was asleep, i carefully released my self from her hold got up opened the door of the car i adjusted the seat into a sleeping position then turned toward her.
I gently lifted her up into my arms and layed her in the car while being careful not to hit her head. I drove us to my house and i carried her up stairs, helped her change into more comfortable clothes. I changed too then got into bed with her and hugged her close, she nuzzled my neck and her arms found once again my waist, That's how we slept for the entire night.
