Dead?

AMY P.O.V.

After yesterday date we decided to put an end to Jack because of what he's done and to stop him from going anyone of us. The doorbell rang and Claire entered with mom and Sam we were waiting for the girls to arrive.
"Hey mom, hey sis how are you doing today? "
"we're fine and you are you feeling okay about today? "i took a deep breath and said "Yeah this has to end today. " we were going to fill a restraint order for Jack and a complaint about the accident we have several witness and with that i hope everything will end and return to normal.
It's been almost an hour now and no word was heard from Kate and her phone is dead.
"Guys I think we should probably head to Kate's house something isn't right "
"yeah she isn't normally late and if she has to be late she would call us.."ellie said while getting up.
All of us headed to Kate's house and were shoked to see the police their and the paramedics too.

KATE P.O.V   

I was getting ready to leave the house when suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened expecting Lea to be at the door because she was going with me but no it wasn't her, it was our commun nightmare Jack is standing infront of me with this disgusting smirk and looking high on something.
"What are you doing here? " my anger wss rising and fast.
"Is this a way of welcoming your boyfriend? "he said while trying to enter the house but I stood my ground.
"You are not my boyfriend anymore. Got it? "i said while poking his chest repeatedly.
He was getting angry by tge minute his eyes darkened and his jaw tightened "Don't Touch Me. You little b**Che you can't leave me understand? " he grabbed me by my neck and was chocking me. I couldn't breath I tried to get him off of me but to no use instead I kicked him hard let's say he may not have kids. He doubled in pain and I took this as a chance and ran toward the door but he grabbed my ankle and I fell face down he flipped me over and hitted me on the head. In that moment my eyes felt heavy and I felt dizzy I tried to hit him but I was weak and couldn't so I just waited and prayed for someone to help me with that i lost my conscious.

LEA P.O.v.  

I'm extra late for my meeting with Kate, and now I'm going as fast as I can. I arrived and saw the front door open something wasn't right so just to make sure I called 911 and intended to wait but I heard a crash sound so I decided to go in. Near the entrance there's a shovel, i grabbed it and entered as quietly as possible. Once I saw that monster on top of Kate and her being unconscious, i rushed and hit him several times on the head. When he fell unconscious I knelt beside Kate and tried to wake her up.
"Kate.   Baby come on please open your eyes for me"
Her eye is turning blue she's bleeding from the head and she's not responding.
"Kate,   hang in there for me please. I promise to say yes on that date if you wake up. I remember when you saved me,you didn't hesitate once before rushing to help me then you took my mind off of it by taking me to your favorite place and letting me stay the knight. You're my hero you just have to hang in there. "Her pulse is getting weaker by the minute and I can't do anything. Suddenly I heard the ambulance siren and saw everyone enter at once. The police arrested Jack the ambulance got Kate to the hospital and the girls rushed to my side for helping me. I don't know what happened next but all I know that I'm waiting for the doctor news.
"Ms. KATE family? " we all rushed to the doctor.
"Kate is lucky to have arrived in time, she'll be fine. She lost a lot of blood, we have to keep an eye on her just in case. You're free to see her, she's sleeping now and only one person can stay. "he then left.
I entered first and sat down beside her and I let my hand run through her soft hair.
"Lea we'll leave you guys alone, if you need anything just call and I'll be there. " Amy said that and hugged me then they all left.
"I'll be here when you wake up baby. "i kissed her temple and rested my head on her side.

ew hours later I felt her stirring, she opened her eyes and looked around I smiled at her
"Heyy baby how are you feeling? "
"My head hurts, Am I dead? "
i got confused  " Noo. Why?"
"Because I think I heard you calling me baby, I don't remember you saying yes to me correct? "
I smiled softly at her confusion and said "No baby you're not dead and not dreaming, i did say yes but you don't remember. " to prove my point I kissed her softly on the lips. I felt her smile against my lips "If that's my reward for almost dying, i should do it more. "
I hit her arm gently "Never do that to me again, I thought I lost you." i cried and hugged her tight.
"I promise you that I'm not going anywhere. "
That day everyone came back and spent the day together.
