Harry's POV
I whirled around and stared at Lucius Malfoy. His pale grey eyes, which I had always assumed were the same as Draco's, were actually quite different. Where Draco's eyes were joyful and bright, Lucius' were dark and menacing. As cold as ice and as hard as steel.
"One being, me hearing a little rumor about my son." Lucius said, staring straight at Draco. "Is it true?"
Draco said nothing, only stared back at his father a look of terror on his face.
Lucius seemed to get his answer. "Ah, but of course it is. I should have known."
Draco still said nothing.
"Oh how the tables have turned." Lucius said. "I remember the last time I saw you here. I believe it was this exact corridor, actually." Lucius turned his attention to me. "You lost me my house-elf. And I promised you that you would meet the same sticky end as your parents."
"Except I didn't." I said, my eyes never leaving Lucius'.
"No," Lucius chuckled. "You didn't." He paused then, and looked around the group. "Well, not yet anyway. There's always time."
"You don't even have a wand." Joshua said, stepping forward. Lucius turned his attention to Joshua, a pale eyebrow raised.
"You Really think I would be stupid enough to come hear, a school full of perfectly capable witches and wizards, without a wand?" Lucius asked. "No." He pulled a wand out of his pocket. "I have one.
"Now back to the problem at hand-my son is dating Harry Potter?" Lucius asked.
Draco's face paled.
"How..." he trailed off, seemingly unable to speak. His eyes shown bright with fear and I wanted nothing more than to be able to help him.
"I have sources, Draco." Lucius said coldly. "And they didn't hesitate to inform me that my son was-was a f-"
I cut him off before he could finish. I lunged at Lucius Malfoy, my wand hidden up my sleeve.
"Wait!" I heard Draco yell.
The next thing seemed to happen in slow motion. I felt myself get dragged backwards, and I came crashing into the floor behind Draco.
Draco pulled his wand out of his pocket but his father was too fast.
A blinding flash of green was all I saw.
