MIN YUJIN
Yoongi gets me home, and bears with how strong I cling unto him the whole time. He doesn't say much or ask any questions either. Instead he holds my hand, even if I am probably turning his purple already.
Once we arrive home he tells me to take a shower to feel better. I head into my room and take my pills; my antidepressant and a painkiller. I chug some water before entering the bathroom and washing up.
That was interesting.
Shut up.
Come on, I'll be gone soon. You took your pill. Indulge.
No.
God, I bet they were convinced you were acting up.
"SHUT UP!"
My head stays silent and I fiercely dry my hair as I exit my room to get more water.
I'm shocked to see my brother waiting on the couch. I forgot he was still here.
"Oppa, aren't you going home?" I ask approaching him.
He turns to me and I can sense something is wrong. "Yujin get dressed, we need to get going."
I frown. "Why? Go where?"
"The hospital. Mom and dad are waiting."
"What's wrong?" I ask again, shaking his knee while he continues to use his phone. He ignores me completely while speaking to someone on the other end of a call.
I bite my lip out of nervousness and look out the window to my left. The car is going quite fast, as Yoongi told the driver to do so. On other days I would have enjoyed the city lights and bustling crowds, but after the events of tonight and now this...
Why would we be going to the hospital? Why are my parents there?
My head stays silent and the conversation I have is completely one-sided. In times like these, I can't deny a little distraction would be enjoyable. I got so used to the chaos in my head, peacefulness is not exactly, well, peaceful.
The car finally comes to a stop right outside a huge building, which I put together is the hospital.
"We're here mom, text me the room number."
I stare at my brother and wait for him to elaborate. He nods and thanks the driver before exiting the car. When he notices I'm not getting out he calls me and tells me to hurry.
Mom? Our parents? Why are they here? Did something happen?
...
SAY SOMETHING GODAMMIT.
"Yujin!" he urges and this time I get out of the car.
He grabs my wrist and hastily makes his way into the hospital.
"Oppa–"
"VIP rooms.." he mumbles while letting go of my hand to open his phone again. He doesn't stop, however, and still continues to walk briskly.
"Stop!" I practically scream. Patients and staff alike turn to me in surprise and I catch a few looks of disapproval. My brother turns around and is clearly ready to scold me. Before he can however, I speak up. "Please, just tell me what is going on," I beg. His expression changes completely upon sensing my confusion and worry.
He takes my hand gently. "Mom and dad are here. Let's get to them first, okay?" He says softly.
I nod and this time allow him to carefully weave me through the corridors and people to get to our destination.
