Escaping Imprisonment

Taehyung stirred in his sleep the next morning, a heavy and cold sweat breaking from his skin before he sat up panting, Jungkook awoke to the spastic movement of Taehyung who looked like he had just seen a ghost "Tae? What's wrong?" Jungkook sat up on his elbows as he looked at Taehyung with furrowed brows "I gotta go" Taehyung quickly removed himself from Jungkook's bed "Go? Go where?" Jungkook scoffed, completely confused

Taehyung stopped and looked back at Jungkook, his eyes glistening but Jungkook didn't understand why "Home" Taehyung squeaked softly "Home? Why would you even think about going back?" Jungkook stood up, frustrated by Taehyung's idea of the stars being aligned, what a load of bullshit "I have to!" Taehyung exhaled deeply as he pulled his shoes on "Then I'm going with you" Jungkook stepped towards Taehyung who stood up straight "No! You can't go with me, he'll surely kill you" Taehyung placed his hands on Jungkook's biceps but Jungkook scoffed, a nonchalant smirk on his lips "Why not? I'm dead either way according to you" Jungkook physically couldn't understand Taehyung's reasoning behind all this

"Jungkook, please. I'm begging you to stay here and let me go home, he'll find a way to collect me himself and when he does he will hurt you or kill you" Taehyung bit his lip hopefully, hoping Jungkook would understand and let him go, but Jungkook shook his head "No. I'm going with you so that bastard doesn't lay a hand on you" Jungkook brushed passed Taehyung and headed for the front door "Jungkook!" Taehyung ran after Jungkook who he caught up to and stopped on the stairs "Please! You don't understand!" Taehyung panted, tears stinging at his eyes "I can't let you go alone" Jungkook stood his ground before Taehyung

After sharing a long glare to one another Taehyung scoffed and hurried the rest of the way down the stairs to hopefully rush off before Jungkook could catch up to him "Tae!-" Jungkook yelled after the older but both boys froze once Taehyung had opened the door, there stood Taehyung's father, uniform on and anger on his face "You." Taehyung's father pointed to Taehyung who looked as horrified as a deer in the headlights "Dad..." Taehyung huffed in defeat, the tears in his eyes slipping down his cheeks "This is where you're hiding out at? With...him" Taehyung's father looked at Jungkook who stood on the staircase still "Dad please, we haven't done anything. Jungkook, he's a good person!" Taehyung tried but quickly earned a hard slap to the face

Jungkook balled his fists as he witnessed Taehyung being slapped by his father "Hey! Don't fucking touch him!" Jungkook trotted down the stairs and rushed up to Taehyung's father before shoving him out of the doorway and onto the porch "Oh, you wanna settle this like men, huh?" Taehyung's father laughed as Jungkook stood between him and Taehyung "You're done controlling him" Jungkook gritted which only made Taehyung's father angrier "Says who?" Jungkook clenched his jaw before unconsciously swinging a fist into Taehyung's fathers' jaw which knocked the cop to the ground and he proceeded to tumble down the steps of the porch and onto the lawn "I do, that's who" Jungkook spat

"Jungkook!" Taehyung called out in horror, if Jungkook wasn't going to die before, he sure as hell was now, and maybe Taehyung would meet his demise as well. Taehyung attempted to run to his father but Jungkook stopped him "Don't" Taehyung looked up at Jungkook who looked back at him with a stern expression, Taehyung stepped back and leaned on the rail of the porch while covering his mouth attempting to hold in sobs as he was horrified of the outcome

Taehyung's father laughed as he pulled himself off the ground but didn't have a chance to speak or retaliate when Jungkook walked over and swung another punch to the cop, sending him stumbling further out into the yard "You will never control him again! Taehyung is not your puppet and I won't ever let you terrorize him anymore!" Jungkook hissed as he continued to advance to the cop who was bent over spitting blood on the ground "You understand me, cop?" Jungkook stopped a few inches in front of Taehyung's father, his voice full of venom
