The next night the group was allowed to take Taehyung home and Tannie also for the two to recover in a familiar place, they were on strict rules to do nothing but rest and no strenuous acts, it would be hard, especially for Yeontan since he was a puppy who liked to play

After they arrived home and situated Taehyung in bed and Yeontan in his pen, Jungkook sat next to Taehyung, the other boys standing in the room waiting for Jungkook to speak "What did you want to tell me, Kook?" Taehyung looked up at Jungkook with a confused look while the younger boy was smiling "Well, Tae, I have great news" Jungkook reached out and held both of Taehyung's hands which confused everyone "There was a comment on the post you made, they said Yeontan was homeless because they knew the momma dog, who was homeless too but she was hit by a car and they attempted to rescue Yeontan but was unable to and planned to return but we picked him up before then. Yeontan was the only puppy they noticed with the momma dog. We can keep him, Tae" Jungkook admitted and watched as Taehyung's eyes grew big and teary, he was happy Yeontan was officially theirs but he just felt more sorry for the poor puppy

"Well? Isn't that great Taehyung?" Hoseok asked once Taehyung hadn't said a thing "Yah, that's not nice to say, Hosoek-ssi!" Jimin scolded and smacked Hoseok's chest which made him wince "I'm just so happy I have no words" Taehyung admitted before looking to the side at the fluff ball in the pen "I also feel so bad for him, he's been lonesome for so long and then he comes here to get attacked" Taehyung frowned and attempted to sit up but Jungkook wouldn't let him "You need to keep laying," Jungkook said, concerned "But I wanna hold Tannie" Taehyung frowned more which pulled at Jungkook's heart but he knew that would hurt the both of them in some way "I'm sorry, Tannie isn't recovered enough to be held, especially the way you hold him" Jungkook poked Taehyung's cheek which made him chuckle "I can't help the fact I love him" Taehyung smiled

"Taehyung, regardless of if Tannie was attacked by coming here he still has a much better life than being out on the streets still, I mean, if he was attacked out there without you there he would have died out there, at least he's gonna recover being here" Seokjin commented with a smile which made Taehyung feel better "You're right Hyung, thank you" Seokjin nodded "Hey, we should let them rest" Namjoon spoke up and motioned for everyone to leave them be "Get well soon Taehyung, it's hard seeing you laid up like this" Yoongi commented before walking out, his cheeks a little flushed from admitted that

Taehyung smiled at Yoongi's words and watched as Namjoon shut the door leaving the three males alone "You wanna scroll through my phone?" Jungkook asked while offering his phone to Taehyung who still didn't have one "No, that's ok" Taehyung smiled while pushing the phone back to Jungkook who shrugged but nodded "Wanna take a nap?" Jungkook asked, unsure of what Taehyung wanted to do since he was limited "Uh...actually, Jungkook...I think I will look at the phone" Taehyung seemed nervous, scared even while taking the phone from Jungkook who looked confused "Tae...are you having nightmares again?" Jungkook asked cautiously to which Taehyung sighed to "...yes" Taehyung admitted reluctantly before looking up at Jungkook who sighed

"I can't help but replay the events of Tannie being attacked, the moment just before I was shot and being drawn back to the time I shot my father...It's a vicious cycle that I can't seem to escape" Taehyung laid the phone down and laid his arm over his eyes while biting his lip "Tae...I'm sorry you're having nightmares again, I wish I could help" Jungkook reached out and ran his hand through Taehyung's hair "I don't think there's any way to help nightmares except to stay up" Taehyung lowered his arm from his face and looked at Jungkook who shook his head "You can't stay up 24/7 and expect your nightmares to correct themselves" Jungkook shifted and laid beside Taehyung before placing his arm around Taehyung's body "Well it's the only thing I know of to keep the nightmares away" Taehyung confessed while staring up at the ceiling "Well...what about cuddling? Didn't that help when you were having nightmares before?" Jungkook asked hopefully
