The tapestries decorate the walls of the room. Although they may once have been brilliant in hue, they now hang in graying tatters. Despite the damage of time and neglect, Mailee can perceive once-grand images of wizards' towers, magical beasts, and symbols of spellcasting. A glow escapes from the open beckons from its flames.

The flames on both sides of each corner of the room emanates an unnatural orange radiance on the stone walls. Glancing quickly about the room, Mailee noted that each stone around the room bears the carving of someone's name. There was only one other door in the room, but that one is shut, and is obvious locked.

As Mailee walked towards the opposite door that she came in, she noticed that Veronica, Soren, and her father were standing near the locked door waiting. As soon as she stood before them there were no words between anyone.

A crackling of lightning and a change of focus from all life around mark the coming of the Handlers. After materializing from light, the two mighty beings with masked eyes stands in front of everyone. They look at Mailee and Soren for what feels like an eternity, and a serene energy takes hold of the two of them.

Four massive wings of moonlight cast a large shadow on everyone. Their incredibly Brown muscular bodies moved as if floating and is clad in incredibly long robes. One holds a scepter in one hand, it has an aura of magic and mystery around it.

Mailee takes a final glance at his face; a grimace is clearly visible as he stared at her like he knew her fate already and she guessed it wasn't as pretty as that from the looks of it. "Well fuck," Mailee couldn't help stating to herself in her head. She then turned to the one that was staring at Soren.

The man's toned brown body glides with determination and is covered in religious markings. He holds a sword in one hand, so that he can defend against evil on that comes his way. Mailee also takes a final glance at his face; a look of disappointment is clear as day while the man stared at Soren.

Everyone watched as the two handlers holding their left hand, with the palm towards Mailee and Soren and five fingers half clenched, next to their right hand with the palm towards Mailee and Soren, two fingers crossed, one finger fully stretched and the other two fully clenched is a gesture that expresses the equivalent of 'my god bless you' in the realm of Oxtrad.

Mailee then soon realized that they were Oxtradians. She read many books that mentions about their race. For instance, they are a mute race and use hand signs to communicate with themselves and others. They are also fantastic fighters and healers.

As Mailee went to welcome them in their language, her father beat her to it by announcing himself and taking the two Oxtradians' attention from the two candidates.

"My family and I welcome you to the realm of Ashia. I hope your journey here wasn't too rough on you." His smile was a bit too wide, a bit too cheerful, considering the fact that he is a monstrous king of demons. Silence was the only thing the demon king got from them before they turned back to Mailee and Soren. Each holds out a dagger and gestured to the walls around them signalling for the two to mark their names on a stone.

Mailee and Soren took the daggers from their hands and started to move around the room to pick a spot on the walls to carve their name into it.

As Mailee walked past a spot on one of the walls, she felt it. That weird burning coasting through her veins. Except it was stronger. She stopped and turn to the spot and only saw one name by itself.

"Felerai...Moonwalker..." Mailee murmured to herself feeling some kind of connection from the woman's name. Because of that she had started to carve her name right below that one. Once both candidates were finished, they returned to the Oxtradians in front of the locked door handing the daggers back to the two men.

The Oxtradian with the sword pulls out an old looking skeleton key, placing the key into the lock door and the portal suddenly opened in the middle of the open door. It looked like a thin veil of water vertically suspended from top to bottom, and Soren curiously touched it with his fingers, expecting it to feel wet on his fingertips. Sensing the portal wasn't wet nor painful, he turned to Mailee with a smirk as he spoke.

"After you dear sister of mine, but if you're afraid you can stay here." The only thing Mailee did was giving him a hard cold look and turned to the portal once again. She than turned to the Oxtradians. Raising her left hand with the palm towards the ground, one finger fully stretched, two fingers half clenched and the other two fully clenched is a gesture that conveys 'thank you' in the their on language. She saw a small flicker of amusement from them.

"Let us go then, dear little brother," Mailee ordered and walked into the portal not even waiting for a comment from anyone. Soren gave one last look to his mother before hesitating entering the portal into the unknown. The portal then closed, leaving the others behind in the old room. The Oxtradians shut the door and locking it before disappearing in a ball of light.
