Four days later.
Santorini, Greece.

Paris had been breathtaking. Valentina had the time of her life with Valerius, and she was almost reluctant to leave the city behind, but the beautiful Greek island had pulled her in.
"How do you like the place?" Valerius asked, coming into her sight. He was walking down the stairs after keeping their luggage in the room. She smiled as he came near her, "Oh I love this!" Valentina said, "I am glad we ditched the hotel for your place."
"Our place," Valerius corrected her.
Valentina shook her head at him, "Yes, yes."
"Everything that is mine," He cupped her face in his hands and made her look into his eyes, "is yours."
Valentina smiled, "Thank you," and then she leaned in for a quick kiss, "for everything."
Valerius wrapped his arms around her waist, "What do you have in mind?"
"I have a few things planned," Valentina said, "Is there anything you wish to do?"
Valerius dragged his face to her neck, "Oh I wish to do many things," He placed a gentle kiss against her throat which had her squirming. Valentina clutched his shoulder blades in her hands, "Valerius," She moaned as he kissed her again.
"Can we spare a few minutes before leaving?" He placed open-mouth kisses on her collarbone, then her jaw, "Please," He murmured, his hands lowered from her waist to palm her ass through her jeans.
"I suppose we can."
"Wrap your legs around me," Valerius commanded, hoisting Valentina up as she complied. She ran her hand through his hair, "So eager, Don." A sudden squeal left her lips when he slapped her ass, rubbing his hand over it to ease the sting, "Behave Donna." He warned as the bedroom came near.
This was going to take more than a few minutes, Valentina thought as Valerius threw her on the bed.

"I love beaches," Valentina murmured with a content sigh as she lay underneath the umbrella. Even in her childhood, she used to spend hours by the water - the sand, the sun, and the waves brought back so many memories.
Valentina tilted her head to see Valerius lying on the lounge chair. His arms were folded behind his head as he faced upwards. He had removed his shirt and was only wearing shorts; exposing his muscled chest and legs. His hair flew with the wind, clashing with his black shades.
"Hi handsome," She smiled coyly at him. Valerius moved his head to look at her, "Ciao bella," His deep voice made Valentina shiver. The boyish grin he flashed at her made him look so carefree.
Valentina quickly retrieved her phone from the side and clicked a picture of him, "I had to," She said after multiple clicks. Valerius only shook his head at her, laughing, and stood up from the seat, "Do you want to join me for a swim?"
Valentina laid back and stretched her arms, "I think I will enjoy the view."
"As you wish, mio cuore."
Valerius walked towards the water while Valentina sat back. She watched him closely as he dived in, swimming skilfully. Valerius emerged from the water and pushed the hair back from his face; making Valentina bite her lip. Even from a distance, Valerius could notice it. This made his eyes darken while a groan slipped past his lips.
"Excuse me?"
Valentina snapped her head to the side, startled.
A man of her age was standing just beside her. Valentina straightened herself and cleared her throat, "Yes?" She asked, wondering what could he possibly want. The man shifted on his feet and passed her a smile.
"Just wondering what a beautiful lady like you was doing all alone?" His tone had a hint of a French accent. His grin only widened when Valentina stood up. She wrapped the robe around her body and hugged her waist, "Why does it matter to you?"
"Well," He said, his blonde hair moving with the wind, "Can I ask you out for dinner?" His eyes roamed up and down her body, making her feel uncomfortable.
"No, thank you." Valentina answered and was about to walk away when he held her wrist in his hand, "You will have fun -"
"Leave her hand."
Both of them turned their heads to the side to see Valerius standing there. Valentina felt the man loosen his hold on her, "Meet my boyfriend." She said and pointed her hand towards Valerius. Her tone had a slight chirp to it.
"B-boyfriend?"
Valerius came to stand near them. His calculating gaze could freeze the man to ice, "Yes," He rumbled, glaring down at the man, "Her boyfriend."
"I h-had no idea." The man stuttered as Valerius towered over him. His build was nothing compared to the Italian crime lord. His eyes filled with fear when Valerius grabbed the collar of his shirt, "Run before I put a bullet between your eyes."
His grave voice made the man shiver. He nodded and muttered a quick apology before turning around to leave. He stumbled quite a few times before he made his way out of their eye view.
Valerius mumbled profanities under his breath, only turning around to face Valentina when he heard her laughter. She clutched her stomach while giggling, putting her hand on her mouth when Valerius arched his brow at her.
"You were so jealous." She mumbled, controlling her laugh, "It was funny."
Valerius wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to his chest, "I am not jealous," He brushed her hair away from her neck, "I am territorial."
"It is the same thing."
Valerius shook his head in denial, "Self-conscious men are jealous, sweetheart. I am not insecure, " He slid a finger down her throat, spreading his palm at the base of her neck, "I am just protecting what is already mine."
Valentina bit her lip, "I do not think I am yours." She joked, but his eyes darkened in response.
"I need to put a ring on your finger." He growled, "Soon."
Valentina giggled again, "I am in no rush."
"But I am."

The end is almost near.
