This chapter is going to be a series of letters written between Thalia and Claude that kinda tell what happened between the time she left and the year that Dimitri truly resurfaced.
Day 3 Horsebow Moon Year 1182
Thalia,
I regret to inform you that my grandfather, the current Duke of the Leicester Alliance, has passed away. I am set to take his place as of now. Aside from that, I hope this letter finds you well. I miss you, terribly at times. What I woudln't give to have you by my side. You and Lillie. I believe Felix was right in his assumptions. There has been rumors of Imperial Generals being murdered brutaly one after the other. They say it's a one-eyed demon with blonde hair and clad in black armor. I believe its Dimitri. I believe that Cornelia set him up to have a reason to off him. Though I'm not sure. Small Lady will be one soon. It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since your departure. Take care of yourself Thalia. I hope to hear from you soon.

Day 15 Horsebow Moon Year 1182
Claude,
I am so sorry Claude. I only wish I could be there to support you through all of this. I miss you as well. I would love for Lillie to meet you. She's gotten so big. On occasion she will get mad at me and punch holes in walls. I just love the Crest of Blaiddyd. That was supposed to be sarcastic if you know what I mean. I am truly just now getting back my energy from giving birth to her. This may be bad of me to say Claude, but I do hope Dimitri is alive. If he is, he has the right to be in his childs life. Do what you can to find out. Please. Thank you. For always being there for me and her. Your family is wonderful. Nader has been teaching me combat and how to fight with weapons other than the lance. He definitely knows his stuff. Talk to you soon!

Day 25 Blue Sea Moon Year 1184
Thalia,
My apologies for not writing the past two years. Things have been nothing short of chaos here as the war rages on. House Gloucester has sided with the Empire. I am broken for Lorenz. The Great Bridge of Myrddin is now under Empire Control. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this facade up Thalia. This mask of unity. I just wish Edelgard would come to her senses about how crazy this is. How big is Small Lady now? I miss you both.

Day 5 Verdant Rain Moon Year 1184
Claude,
I completely understand and do not hold the lack of letters against. you. I feel bad for Lorenz as well. I am sure he must feel torn. Losing the Great Bridge is not good strategically. It gives the Empire a foothold, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with. Stay strong Claude. You have always been able to stay strong in the face of despair. Do not falter now. Lillie is doing well. She looks more and more like Dimitri every day. Take care Claude.

This letter was sent to Claude and never recieved. An Imperial messenger intercepted it and now the identity of Thalia and Dimitri's child has now been exposed to Emperor Edelgard. This causes even more tension as Imperials push for the location of the child and her mother. The lords of the Kingdom now hold out hope of locating this child themselves to restore the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.
Day 1 Garland Moon Year 1186
Thalia,
I only pray that you get this letter Thal. Dimitri is alive. We colided at Grondor Field. The battle was gruesome. Edelgard pitted us against each other like play things. It was horrible. What's even worse is the last reply you sent to me was intercepted. The cat is out of the bag now, so to speak. Even Dimitri is aware at this point I'm sure. Though Felix and I have managed to keep your and Lillie's location secret. I'm scared Thalia. Empire forces are marching towards Derdriu. I am worried that we won't make this out unscathed. I have sent word to Dimitri, but I worry it will not arrive in time. My wounds from Grondor Field are not yet healed. I feel that I should say this now. I beleive what I felt back then was love for you. But I believe more than anything I felt jealous of the relationship that you and Dimitri had. I felt jealous that he got to spend so much time with you and I didn't. Now that I've been apart from you I can finally say that I do love you, as a friend. You've alwasy been my friend Thalia. And I would never change that. Take care Thalia. I miss you.

I sat the paper down on the table and ran to the knights hall. "Nader!" I shouted in Almyran. He turned to me suddenly with a confused look on his face. "What's up kiddo." I placed a hand in the air as I tried to catch my breath. "Our dear Khalid, has went and gotten himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. Empire forces march on Derdriu. We're gonna go help!" He looked at me, then a mischievous grin appeared on his face. "Alright then! You heard the woman boys. Let's get a move on. We ride to Derdriu!" A loud "Yes Sir!" could be heard throughout the hall and we all made our way to the stables. "Mommy!!" I turned to see my young daughter standing there. "Hey sweetie. Mommy's gotta take a small trip okay. You stay with the King and Queen till I get back, okay?" She begin to cry but nodded, and ran back to her caretaker. I turned to get the rest of the supplies ready before climbing on top of my wyvern. Nader gave the okay and we left the stables one by one. I held the Silence Glaive close to me as we flew. 'Claude sent word to the kingdom. That means he sent word to Dimitri. Dimitri...' Thinking about Dimitri made my heart flutter.
"Get your head out of the clouds Thalia. We're almost there." I nodded. I could see Derdriu up ahead. I was starting to get slightly nervous. We landed on the pier and were immediately surrounded by alliance soldiers. Nothing that wasn't expected. Nader climbed down off his wyvern and walked forward. "Easy guys. We're here to help Claude." They all looked at each other with confused expressions. "Nader?" The crowd of soldiers broke and a man dressed in gold with unkempt brown hair and a beard walked forward. "Long time no see kiddo!" My eyes widened. The man standing in front of us right now was....Claude!!! He walked up and gave Nader a hug and the soldiers surrounding us lowered their weapons. "I don't understand. What are you all doing here." Nader just let out a hearty laugh. "That would be a question for the lovely lady in the back." I slowly got off my wyvern and walked forward. Claude's attention turned to me and his eyes filled with shock. I instantly became self conscious realizing that what I was wearing, didn't leave much to the imagination. My hair blew wildy as silence filled the air. His expression went from shock to pure joy as he walked to me. I ran and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Thalia! I'm so happy to see you! Four years and you're just as beautiful as the day you left." He pulled back from me and then turned to Nader. "Thank you all so much for coming. Lets get you all settled in and I'll brief you on the situation. We unmounted our wyverns and joined Claude in the great hall as he told us all that had happened and where we were now.
