Hello, Goodbye

Settling In

A firm arm was wrapped around my waist as my eyes opened slowly. I felt a little hand laying on my face and I looked at my sleeping daughter. But... she wasn't the one holding me. Confusing set in as I looked down and saw a large, pale hand holding me. I turned and buried my head in his chest.   This must have woke him up. I could feel his muscles tense under my head. "Thalia? Are you awake?" I nodded and wrapped my arm around his waist. He relaxed and pulled me closer. "This is nice. I really don't want to get up." I pulled from his embrace and sat up in the bed. I turned to Lillie and gently shook her. "Lillie sweetie you need to wake up." She slowly came to and smiled at me sleepily. "Good morning mommy, daddy." I noticed Dimitri looking at her softly. "Is everything okay, Dimitri?" He nodded and got up out of the bed. "Yes. I just suppose I'm still not entirely used to the way she looks at me." Of course that was it. He literally just met Lillie yesterday.

This was all so new to him, yet he was handling it all so well. I walked over to him and kissed his shoulder. "I know Dimitri. This damn war screwed everyone up." Lillie jumped off the bed and walked to the door. "Mommy, daddy can I go play with Ingrid and Annette. Pretty please? I know where their room is at." I looked to Dimitri and he just smiled. "Of course you can. Just tell them to have you back by lunch." She jumped up in the air and ran out the door. "It's comical. She has my looks but your energy." I walked over and sat at the large vanity in the room. I undid the tie in my hair and let it cascade down my back. I undid every single braid in my hair as well and began to comb through it with my fingers. "Your hair has gotten so long." I looked up in the mirror just to see how long it really was. "It has. Losing some length would be better for me in battle but I cant stand the thought of cutting it." Dimitri ran his hands through my hair and began to massage my scalp. A moan unintentionally left my lips and he stopped for a brief moment before continuing his handiwork. "I apologize for last night. It was not my attention to sleep with you and Lillie. I didn't even know if you would feel comfortable with that I just dozed off and next thing I knew I woke up this morning with you in my arms."

I stood up from the chair and turned to him. "Don't apologize for that, Dimitri. If I'm being completely honest it felt kinda nice. I wouldn't mind having you close to me. I mean we're gonna be together for Lillie's sake at least, so I'm not opposed to you sleeping in the same bed as me or holding me in your arms."  I ran my hands down his shoulders and to his hands. I held them in mine for a brief moment before leaning up to capture his lips. His hands came to my waist and pulled me flush against him. His lips felt so good against mine. It left me wanting more. "Hey Thalia! You and Dimitri got a sec?!" I broke from Dimitri as I heard Claude's voice outside the door. "Yeah! We'll be right there." I mouthed a sorry to Dimitri and walked to the door. We stepped out into the hall to see Claude standing there with a bag strapped to his back. "So this is it farewell Claude?" Dimitri had a slight tinge of concern in his voice. "Yup. I'm heading out. I've already seen Small Lady, I just needed to say my farewell to you two."

"You'll write won't you?" Claude looked to me with a grin on his face. "You know it. Dimitri? Take care of her." Dimitri nodded to Claude. "I will Claude. I can promise you that." We finished saying our farewells and then Claude left. Standing back in our room I watched as he flew off on his white wyvern. "Are you going to be alright? I am aware that you two were rather close after the monastery fell." I turned back to him and nodded. "Yes. I will be fine." I walked back over to him and placed my hands on his chest. "So what now? What's our next plan?" He pulled me back into his arms and buried his head in my shoulder. "We leave tomorrow for the monastery. We have a month to prepare before we march to Fort Merceus. Thalia... I know your not fond of fighting. Or killing for that matter. So I would ask that you stay at the monastery with Lillie. If that is alright with you." A sigh left my lips as he said thise words. "I was praying you would say that. It's not that I don't trust the monastery staff, but I would rather be close to our child."

"I was hoping you would be okay with that." He pulled back from me and stroked my face. "Of course I would be. Dimitri, listen. They won't have Lillie back for a bit. Would you maybe..." I stopped myself when I realized what I was about to say. "Maybe what?" I turned around, facing the window. "Nothing, Dimitri. Really, it was..." I didn't even get to finish my sentence before he had pulled me back in and crashed his lips to mine. He picked me up just as suddenly and carried me to the bed. 'He read my mind!' He hovered over me and licked my lips. I opened my mouth for him and his tongue began a fierce battle with mine. I reached up to undo the tie in his hair. It fell and tickled my face slightly. I pulled the tunic up his waist and he pulled away enough to toss it onto the floor. I took a brief moment to observe his torso. It was covered with scars. I ran my fingers over them wondering exactly where he had gotten them all.

He dismissed my thoughts with another seering kiss, all the while tugging at the hem of my gown. I lifted my hips and he threw the garment to join his on the floor. He took a moment to observe me and I blushed under his gaze. He began to trace a long scar that lay just under my bellybutton. "Thalia? Where did this scar come from?" He looked up at me with concern in his eyes. "Our child. I wasn't able to give birth to her naturally due to my health. So, they had to cut her out of me. This scar is proof of what I went through for her and I would'nt trade it for anything in the world." The concern in his eyes quickly shifted to a smile as he brought his lips to mine once more. His hands found my breasts and began to massage them. I moaned into his lips as he done so. He broke from the kiss and took a hardened bud into his mouth. I threw my head back as yet another moan flew from my lips. He shifted to the other and began to suck on it as well. "Oh! Dimitri! That feels so good!" Cool air hit my breast as he laughed against it. He pulled back from my chest and started kissing on my neck.

His hand travelled down my stomach into my lower region. He spread my lips gently and slid a finger into me. "I have missed you so much Thalia. Your beautiful lips, your beautiful body. Having you squirm underneath me. The sounds of pleasure coming from you, knowing I was the one who brought them about. All of it." He fingered me slowly at first and then began building up a steady pace. I became a moaning mess, moving every way I could to get closer to his hand. He moved his hand from me leaving me confused. Kisses were laid on my stomach till he kept getting lower and lower. He kissed the area just above my lower lips before spreading them open with his tongue. My eyes shot open as I felt every nerve in my body light up. He wrapped his arms around my hips to hold me in place as I tried to buck against him. With one of his hands that were wrapped around me, he inserted his finger inside me once more. The amount of heat that was welling inside me was so intense it nearly took my breath away. I came undone around him and he pulled back slowly. I was panting and doing everything I could to catch my breath. His lips found mine and I could taste myself on them. He fumbled with his pants and they too joined the garments on the floor.

He positioned himself at my entrance and looked at me softly. "Are you sure Thalia?" I nodded and he pushed into me gently. I could feel how the years changed him. He felt almost heavenly inside of me. Better so than five years ago. His pace started slow as he got adjusted to me and then began to build. I could see only pleasure on his face as he thrusted into my wet heat. He grabbed my legs and placed them on his shoulders. This position brought out a whole new side to me as I could feel him hit every inch of me. My body bucked as he hit the deepest part of me and I pushed for more. "Right there Dimitri! Don't stop." He complied and thrusted inside of me erratically. I could feel another release building up inside of me as he continued to hit that spot. "Dimitri...I..." I could see him nod out of the corner of my eye. "Me too love. Just let it go." With those words I came around his length and he let out a beastly moan, signifying his end as well. My eyes widened and Dimitri's did too at the realization of what just happened. He collapsed beside me and tried to catch his breath. "I'm sorry, Thalia." Then he laughed. "We already have one child, another wouldn't hurt." I gasped in surprise and hit him on the shoulder jokingly. "Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd!! Well... I suppose your right." I looked to him with a smile on my face as happy laughter filled the room.
