Getting caught

I keep running as the adrenaline kicks in making me faster, the sound of my heart beating with the blood flowing through my body hits my ears. I might make it. I can tell how far away the bodyguards are.....

Anger soon takes over as I trip, my body and head hitting the ground hard. I try to get up but my head starts to make that high pitch sound which hurts and also my arms are too weak to pull me up. Before I know it, I hear the footsteps of the bodyguards behind me. I see one of their shoes as it comes in perfect view for me. My eyes start to slowly close with tears in them as I lose conscious.

One of the bodyguards flips me around with my back on the ground as he smashes a few hits on my face. First punch, second punch, third punch, fourth punch....I can't tell if he gets to a fifth punch because that's when I black out.

After what feels about 30 seconds but is probably about a couple hours, I wake up in a bed. I have no idea where I am but before I can even process anything, I feel an excruciating pain coming from my face, my head hurts, my legs hurt and my whole body aches.

"Ouch!!" I squeal as the pain seems to get worse.

it sinks in as I remember how I got here. I remember running so fast from Jeno's bodyguards. I remember that I was doing really well until I fell, I also remember being punched a couple times until I blacked out.

A old looking lady with a first aids kit comes in the room - I'm guessing she is the nurse.

"Hello miss, how are you?" She asks in a sweet voice.

"Terrible." I say shorty as she sits down on the bed near me.

She opens up the case, gets the ointment, puts it on a cotton bud and applies it to my face. I say a few 'ouches' and 'ahhh's' while she keeps putting this medicine on my face.

Jeno comes through the door and I don't bother saying anything to him, I don't even bother looking at him either.

"So....how you feeling princess?" He comments.

I didn't say anything at all, I just kept my mouth shut. I observed his movements as he came around and sat on the other side of the bed.

"Not talking to me, are we?" He grinned.

I shook my head. I feel a wave of confidence until I felt a sore nip on my left hand. I look over to see the nurse giving me a serious look, like she was trying to tell me something. She lightly coughs to give me more clues and I understand it. She knows what he is capable of doing, she doesn't know that I know what he is capable of doing too. Jeno and I just stare at each other.

"Miss, please leave the room for a minute" He advised.

The nurse quickly gets up, bows to both of us and leaves. I added a quick 'thank you' before she closed the door.

I keep looking at the door as Jeno spoke up "pay attention to me" he demanded.
